"That's impressive, Miss Clarkson; Jayden, you have a lovely girlfriend. You better protect her." Lorenzo praised Venessa.
"I will try my best to keep her by my side." Jayden chirped in.
"Do you have any idea why I always donate?" Lorenzo asked turning attention back to Venessa.
Venessa had no idea there was a reason behind Lorenzo's motive to donate. "I thought you were just a charitable person with a big heart," she answered, making Lorenzo laugh.
"I am a charitable person, but that is not the only reason," Lorenzo admitted sparking up Venessa's curiosity. "When I was barely a teenager, I lost both of my parents the same day, so being an orphan made me more compassionate to orphans who are not privileged like me." Venessa was pleasantly surprised. It was no secret that Lorenzo was an orphan.
