"I could only think about myself." Karissa suddenly bursts into tears startling Damien. "I know what I did was wrong, but I didn't have a choice. It was the only way to help her, Aurora."
"What are you saying it was the only way when you ruined her life?" Damien got confused by each word that left Karissa's lips.
"I know, you don't have to remind me. I stood by her side for those four years, and it drove me crazy knowing I was among the ones driving her crazy when she lost all, the love of her life and her only hope." Karissa turned to look at Damien's face and reached out for it.
"Will you please forgive me and beg Aurora to forgive me." She pleaded desperately.
