"I am not thinking of anything important, just thinking about the danger you got yourself in just to help a friend." Venessa blurted nervously. "I can call you my friend right." She added.
She was trying to avoid looking at Jayden because she was blushing hard. Why now of all times was she imagining what he was like naked and hot?
" Why are you blushing so hard and avoiding my sight? What are you thinking about in that head of yours?" Jayden's brow was slightly arched at her behaviour.
"It is nothing and don't try to change the topic. I was expressing my gratitude for your aide in my rescue. Sinclair said you did almost everything and planned the raid with the silver haired guy who was your ally I presume." Venessa tried to avoid the topic and keep her mind away from going to unwanted places.
"You know I almost lost my life and extended a lot of resources to help you again. I do deserve a reward for my actions." Jayden sighed tiredly.
