"If you are having issues eating I can feed you myself" Jayden said with a straight face. There was no sign he was teasing her. Venessa started doubting if he was teasing her.
"You don't mean that." She said, there was no way Jayden would want to feed her.
"What makes you think so? I don't mind feeding a baby." He said with a straight face making it hard for Venessa to guess if he was serious or joking.
"I am not a baby," Venessa stated the obvious with a slight frown which Jayden didn't like because he was tired of seeing her frown today. He missed that smile that drove him crazy.
"Only a baby will play with their food." Jayden referred to the masterpiece Venessa had created.
"Evelyn please can you take her plate away and bring a fresh one." Jayden then instructed Evelyn who swiftly took away her plate before she could alter a word. Where did Evelyn even come from? She questioned herself.
