I still can't believe that she is still alive and changed her identity." Esmeralda said closing the file. She picked up her white flurry dog that was curled close to her feet and started petting it.
"What if we are wrong and the reason for her actions is to protect her son, who also bears resemblance to an immortalis?" Jasmine mentioned they could not cancel out that possibility. She didn't want to put so much hope on Venessa only for it to be ruined.
"That might be true. The time frame of the incident doesn't match but we suspect them to have forged those documents." Esmeralda answered. Her eyes started burning in fury.
