"Please don't.." Brandy begged hoping this psycho could hear her out even if it was a vile attempt.
"Don't what?" Esmeralda's voice boomed.
"Don't touch Kenny. Please, I am begging you."
"Tears don't sway me. It never sways those who want to hurt us. I learned the hard way." Esmeralda sighed.
"I know my tears won't mean anything to you but you once said we are alike, that we do what we do to protect what we love. So please understand me." Brandy reminded Esmeralda of what she said the first day they met.
"Brandy, Brandy what can I say to you, my dear." Esmeralda rose from her seat to sit on Brandy's bed.
"Don't ruin the covers. The hospital bills are pretty expensive." She smiled at Brandy and then stretched out her hands to touch Brandy's face which still had some wounds on it that were healing.
Brandy flinched at her touch even though her fingers were not cold but this woman was a psycho.
