The waiter served the first course of the meal while Jayden was conversing with the other party that was led by Sinclair.
Venessa was fascinated at how Sinclair was able to carry himself during the discussion. At first, she thought it would be awkward for her to be in this meeting with the presence of Sinclair after being introduced as Jayden's girlfriend but to her surprise, it didn't turn out that way. The meeting went on as it should while she was excluded because the other party probably guessed she was not relevant to the discussions, not that she cared though.
"I thought the Astor family was only Interested in the hospitality industry. Why the sudden change of heart?" Jayden posed a question towards Sinclair interrupting him in the middle of his explanation.
