[Celia's POV]
Celia felt both relief and also shivered. The proximity always made her mind foggy.
"But for that, you have to stop getting hurt," she said as she pulled away to make some distance between them.
She lowered her gaze when she heard him chuckle.
"Now that you have said, I will," he replied, but Celia could not overlook the humor in his tone.
She stood up. "Please rest for now. And…" she hesitated before gazing at him. "I will talk to Lucian and clear the confusion. If he is still here."
She fidgeted with her fingers as she saw the amusement in his eyes dim and his eyes darken.
"You will not go anywhere near him," he said in a deadly calm voice. Celia gulped in fear.
"If I don't then he will not stop. He needs to understand that I will not return," she said firmly and felt guilty of taking advantage of Vladimir's wounded state.
