[Vladimir's POV]
He went and sat down on the chaise, his eyes still remaining on Celia's sleeping form. He compelled himself to look away. He gritted his teeth, his fangs nipping at his bottom lip. Her scent was mesmerizing, addicting.
He felt annoyed at himself for even considering letting her in. Her cloying, sweet smell made the room suffocate even though he couldn't breathe like the humans. He walked over to the window and looked outside, just so he could distract himself. Belatedly he thought of leaving the chambers, however, it wouldn't be good if he left now and whatever facade they had created would just be destroyed.
The first lights of dawn were around the corner. His mind wandered back to the things Celia said. She saw the ghost of the baker woman. But how? he made her forget that woman. He blocked her memories. How did she even see her? He made sure to cast an enchantment on her.
