In the Night Raid's base.
A pink haired girl was walking out of a building, and was on her way to the training grounds. "Yes! I'm finally healed! Until my wounds healed, I had to stay at the base and rest. Now I can get back into the fight! I have to work twice as hard to make up for all the missions I sat out!"
After she arrived at the training grounds, she yelled, Anybody here?! I need someone to train with!"
"Yo Mine!" Kakashi was doing some push-ups with Akame sitting on top of him.
"You've recovered! That's good!" Akame said with a smile.
Lubbock was on the ground breathing loudly, while Leone was standing about them.
"What are you guys doing...?" Mine asked.
"Just helping these guys out in training." Leone replied.
*Swipe*
"That's too slow! Put your back into it!" "I'm already, doing it!" Bulat's voice could be heard in the distance as well as Tatsumi's.
"But still... Its surprising to see you this sweaty Lubbock." Mine said looking at Lubbock's state.
"Well after hearing about Kakashi's work within the group, I realise I have to pick up the slack and work hard as well." Lubbock answered.
"You can talk the talk, but you do realize you've done less than half as many as Kakashi's right?" Leone teased.
"Well, that's to be expected. There's a large a difference in weight, between the two of us." Akame commented.
Everyone in the room gasped at Akame's comment about Leone's weight.
*Smack*
Leone smacked Akame on the top of her and walked away from her. Akame holding her head in pain and confused, looked at Kakashi. To which he only shook his head in disapproval.
"I see that you're all here." Najenda was carrying a lot of stuff on her. "I'm leaving for the Revolutionary Army headquarters. I'll be delivering the Imperial Arms we retrieved from the Three Beast Warriors."
"On you're own?" Tatsumi pointed at the axe. "Isn't that axe ridiculously heavy?"
Najenda turned her head a bit to see the axe. "Nah, its alright." She grabbed it from behind her back. "See? I can't exactly swing it in battle, but I can carry it, no problem."
"I had no idea the boss was superhuman as you guys." Tatsumi whispered to Lubbock.
"Well, of course. You do know she was a general, right? Lubbock whispered back.
Najenda turned towards to where Akame and Kakashi are standing at. "Akame, you're in charge while I'm gone. I trust you're familiar with the principle of 'hard work for all'."
Akame nodded, "In theory, yes."
"Only in theory?!" Tatsumi exclaimed.
"Don't worry. She'll do a good job." Kakashi patter her head.
Najenda nodded and took a smoke. "As for Kakashi, continue gathering info on the newly assembled Imperial Arm users' group. I have a feeling they're going to be a lot stronger that we think."
"The person who I told you all about that was joining them... managed to be accepted. Apparently they're all going to meet in the palace today... Esdeath will also be there." Kakashi reported.
"I see..." Najenda puffed up another smoke before continuing, "The other reason I'm going is to request for reinforcements. Even though we have Kakashi, he can't be at two places at once. That is why we need more members... Bulat, Sheele you both are going to train Tatsumi. Bulat the former Incursio's master, and Sheele is one of the best close combat assassin's we have in the Revolutionary Army."
'I mean... I could be at two or many places at once... But, I'll rather keep that as a secret for now. I can't show all my cards before the final battle.' Kakashi thought as he watched Najenda leave the base.

"Here we are..." Wave stood in front of a door. "Man, why didn't Kakashi join as well. He beat my ass during our spar. Then again, thanks to my connection with the Imperial Navy, I was recommended."
Wave opened the door to see a man with a somewhat gas mask on. "...It seems I entered the wrong room! Pardon me!" Wave quickly close the door and looked at the map he was given. "Wait, it said this is definitely the room... Come on Wave, maybe he's actually a nice guy. Kakashi told me to not judge a book by it cover... before beating the shit out of me during that spar..."
Wave took a deep breathe and entered the room once again. He took a seat at the table with six chairs. "Hi, my name is Wave!"
The masked man stared at him silently.
'Hey, hey, what's going on? He's done nothing but stare at me this whole time.' Wave thought as he stared down. 'This sucks, mom. I already want to go home!'
Saving Wave from the awkward silence, the door opened a girl with short, black hair in a twin-tail style and black eyes, entered the room.
'A normal girl!' Wave stood up to handshake her. H-Hey. Are you an Imperial Arm user that was summoned here as well? Nice to meet you, I'm Wave!"
"Kurome. You can't have any of my cookies." She replied and sat down.
Wave blinked a couple of times, before returning back to his original seat. 'Shit... What's with this situation?! One just sits there eating cookies after cookies. You're gonna get cavities, you know! Damn it! And this one just sits there staring at me. What's his deal?'
*Bam!*
The door swung open and Seryu along with her dog entered the room. "Pardon me! I've been reassigned from the Capital Defense forces! I'm Seryu Ubiquitous! And this is Koro!" After she placed some roses on the ground, she called. "Dr. Stylish, the preparations are complete!"
'Ohh... This one seems normal enough!' Wave thought.
A tall and slim, young man with black hair and a small, white streak or patch of hair on the left side and blue eyes, entered the room after her. He wore glasses, a yellow suit with a blue shirt, a tie and white lab coat. "Valuing one first impression... The very definition of 'stylish'. It's a guy thing."
Wave face had a terrified expression. 'He swings that way?!'
"Oh my!" Dr. Stylish placed a hand on chin. "I can see you're a country boy. But you're quite the looker. In my hands, you'll shine." He gave a wink. "Looking forward to it."
'And he's interested in me...' Wave sweat dropped.
"Hello." Another young man with fair blond hair and golden eyes entered the room. He wore a white robe on top of a black shirt and pants with a brown belt, a feather pin behind his left ear and a collar-like accessory on his neck. "Looks like I'm the last to arrive. I'm Run, it's a pleasure to meet you all."
The masked man brought a tray of cups filled with tea. "Uhmm... Everyone, I've made some tea. I must apologize, it is our first meeting, and yet I didn't greet you... I have a fear of strangers, you see... I was nervous. I most likely have the most seniority here, and yet I act like that ! Let's get along as fellow Imperial Arm users. I'm Bols, from the incineration squad."
As everyone was drinking their tea, a blue haired woman with a mask covering her face, entered the room.
Wave asked her, "Eh.. Who are you?"
She disregarded his question and asked instead. "What are you all doing here?"
Wave standing up, not liking her attitude rushed in and try to punch her.
Kakashi: Wave... If someone you don't recognize and starts bossing you around, what do you do?
Wave: Umm... Comply with their orders?
Kakashi punched him in the head.
Kakashi: Wrong! You beat the shit out of them. Don't respect others, if they don't respect you!
'I hope you're right about this Kakashi!' Wave gave a punch to her gut, which she dodged with incredible speed. 'Wha!'
"Good, but not enough!" She kicked him in the chest, and sent him flying into a wall. "You were all recruited into this group and yet only he went and try to attack me. The rebel assassin's will always try to blend in, then slash you down without you even knowing what happened. So, always be on your guard!"
She rushed in at Run and gave a couple of combos with close combat. 'Commendable Reflexes.' She noted before Run jumped away from her.
Seryu and her dog appeared behind her to surprise attack her. The masked girl grabbed her arm over her shoulder and slammed her down onto the ground in front of her, while creating an ice shield blocking the dog's attack. "You were far too conspicuous for someone attempting a sneak attack."
With a cookie in her mouth, Kurome rushed at the masked girl while unsheathing her sword.

Kurome managed to land an attack on her mask, cutting it into pieces. Even if you're messing around, I won't hold back.
The pieces fell of the woman's face revealing her to be General Esdeath. "So that's the Imperial Arm, March of the Dead: Yatsufusa. Isn't it? What an impressive blade."
Everyone but Kurome's eyes widened seeing Esdeath.
After everyone was changed into suits and were walking down the palace's hallway. Esdeath spoke, "I figured a normal greeting would be boring."
"I'm used to harsh training." Wave replied remembering the training he went through with the Imperial Navy in the past.
"Thank you for the lesson, ma'am." Seryu said politely.
Esdeath clapped her hand. "Okay then! We'll have a party after our audience with his majesty."
"This is a pretty fast-paced schedule for our first day of work." Run crossed his arms.
"I believe in getting the tedious parts out of the way first." Esdeath replied.
Seryu raised her hand. "But before that. What should we call our group?"
Esdeath smirked, "We are a unique organization, ordered to mercilessly hunt down and eliminate traitorous elements. We are the special unit known as... the Jaegers!"

'I'm glad the seafood I brought is being served up as the main course. But isn't this kinda off that we're the ones who can cook here?' Wave thought, as both he and Bols were cooking in the kitchen.
"Wave." Bols called out to him. "The spinach should go in last. If you add it too early, it will get soft."
"Oh sorry." Wave flashed a smiled. "By the way, I'm relieved to find out you're a nice guy after all."
Bols stop cutting up the fish. "I'm not... nice at all..."
In the dinning room with the rest of the Jaegers.
Kurome was placing with Seryu's dog while sitting at the table. Seryu and Esdeath was also sitting at the table. Run and Dr. Stylish was having their own conversation standing up.
"General! What do you like to do in your free time here?" Seryu asked.
Esdeath was twirling her glass of wine when she replied. "Mostly, hunting, torturing and research thereof." She placed down her glass of wine on the table. "But at the moment... I'm interested in finding in love."
Kurome and Seryu jump in surprised. 'Love?' They both thought.
"On another note." Esdeath continued. "I've been informed that we have a spare Imperial Arm in our disposal."
"Oh that's right." Seryu remembered the battle she had with the Night Raid. "We recovered an Imperial Arm shaped liked scissors from the forces of evil. Its at HQ... They haven't found anyone compatible with it yet, though."
Esdeath hearing the whole report from Seryu, spoke. "If no one is found, the Prime Minister would claim it as his own. Which would be a shame. Perhaps we should put on a show to help us find a capable wielder."

Inside a closed library, Kakashi, Tatsumi and Lubbock were in it. Lubbock push through three books and a secret passageway was shown.
"Whoa!" Tatsumi exclaimed. "This does feel like a secret base!"
"Right? Its my pride and joy." Lubbock bragged.
"But you didn't make it or anything... did you?" Kakashi teased.
After walking down the stairs, Leone was sitting on a couch waiting for them. "Hello there! Welcome to our secret base in the capital!"
"You're taking it was too easily!" Tatsumi angrily said.
"Anyways" Leone pulled out a wanted poster. "Mine's now showing up on the wanted posters as well, so only the four of us can walk around outside."
"And the new special unit - Jaegers has been the talk of the town. My intel told that one of them is that Biological Imperial Arm user that Sheele and Mine fought in the past." Kakashi shared.
Lubbock sighed, "Make's sense. given that Esdeath is their leader. Infamy is a sure way to get noticed, and everyone fears her name."
Leone lay down on one of the couches. "I'm glad I decided to not mess with her on my own. I wonder how many hundreds of thousands of kills it took for her to gain that evil aura."
"How monstrous can she be?" Tatsumi asked.
Kakashi grinned, "Tats, if your curious..." He pulled out a poster from his pocket. "She's sponsoring a city-wide martial arts tournament. The winner gets a cash prize and apparently Sheele's Imperial Arm if its compatible with them. The cash is pretty good to win, so that we can send it back to our village."
Meanwhile, inside the Imperial Palace... The Prime Minister and the Emperor was having lunch while having a conversation.
"Why do you think General Esdeath said she wants to fall in love?" The little Emperor asked.
After taking a bit of his food, the Prime Minister replied. "Most people desires the opposite sex once they reach a certain age. General Esdeath was practically born to fight. Until now, she's always chosen battle over everything else. But it seems that desire is finally blossoming."
"I see." The child nodded his head. "I'd like to help her find someone suitable."
"She is a very proud woman. I'm sure she won't accept anyone less than perfect for her." The Prime Minister took another bite of his food.
The Emperor held up the paper that Esdeath gave him before. "But no man like this exists."
The paper stated. "Above all, he must possess great potential. I would like to personally train him into a highly ranked general. Secondly, he must be fearless and be able to hunt Danger Beasts. Third, much like myself, he must have been raised far outside the capital. Fourth I require a younger man who is easier to control. Fifth, it would be nice for him to have a pure, innocent smile."
The Emperor sighed, "Most men wouldn't even make it past the first requirement.
"And not just anyone can be trained into a highly ranked general, either." The Prime Minster said.
