Tang Shi Yi returned home only to see that the living room had turned dark.
It was quiet. Only the light at the entrance was turned on.
She guessed that Chen Chen should be sleeping by now.
Tang Shi Yi swept her gaze around the house and found her friend, Yin Yi Bo sleeping on the sofa in the living room.
She stood at the entrance for a while to watch this scene. Just as she was about to change her slippers, Yin Yi Bo stirred in his sleep and woke up.
Their gaze met as Tang Shi Yi walked into her apartment.
"You're back," Yin Yi Bo greeted. He sat up straight and rubbed the corner of his eyes with his fingers. Then, Yin Yi Bo let out a big yawn.
Seeing Yin Yi Bo's tired face made Tang Shi Yi feel a little guilty. She hoped that she could come back a little earlier.
"I'm sorry. I did not expect that this meeting would last for a long time," Tang Shi Yi said.
"I don't mind. It's not always for you to attend a business meeting." Yin Yi Bo glanced at his laptop on the coffee table. "Besides, the quietness at your apartment allowed me to finish the manuscript earlier." He flashed an assuring smile. "How was it? Did you meet a lot of important people?"
Yin Yi Bo figured that it was better for him to change the subject.
