C197: An Emperor's Power

Im gonna try to speed through the rest of what I have planned for RoR then have 1 or 2 chapters be interlude smut then have a few little adventurers in the last 'world'

While Axel is walking around on his break, he finds a peculiar encounter in a park styled flower field. There, Buddha is seen relaxing when he unfortunately encounters the Seven Lucky Gods where the one in front who looks like an outdated Yakuza member, the whole shebang with the inclusion of a fez hat but with a golden carp on it, even with a golden fish gun.
The god with a gun (such a hard title is wasted on him), Ebisu, begins to act up in self righteous rage as he accuses Buddha of favoring the humans but Buddha attempts to calm him down but his choice of words only causes them to act up more and it nearly comes to blows when the human fighters stumble upon this.
Sasaki Kojiro and the short swordsman, named Soji Okita (finally taking a break from fighting Axel's hand), along with his Shinsengumi guard nearly clash against the Seven lucky Gods as well as Loki who appeared and caused some mischief.
"Kick their ass Seabass" The tension immediately drops as they hear Axel cheer, as for whomst, it is not known but the gods, mostly the seven shiver from Axel's gaze passing over them. Loki instead moves to retreat as he hates Axel with such a passion but recognizes his strength to a point that he would prefer avoiding him if he could.
Axel, on the other hand, has his eye finally trained on a shadow looking figure lurking in the hallways that Loki goes through, unaware of the figure.
"Hoo, he seems to be here early, I wonder how that will turn things around, maybe because both of his brothers are dead this time around" The figure seems to also scan Axel before retreating, he of course also notices Axel's gaze and realizes that his helm of darkness did not work against the otherworlder's gaze.
Buddha and the human fighters acknowledge their respective battle spirits and soon enough an announcement is made that the stadium is ready. All move to their respective spots. Yet before they do, Buddha approaches Axel and asks a followup question.
"If a divine is truly needed for Humans to win as you say, then do you not qualify as their savior?" He asks this due to what he had witnessed in the previous fight. To this question, Axel shakes his head and speaks.
"I may be many things but even with all my inheritances and abilities, yet I do not hold the title of god, I am simply a channel for others divinity." Buddha closes his eyes at the response as he takes his leave, playing with his lollipop.
Just like in canon, Buddha is sent out at the 6th match and he wields his six realm staff. He has a carefree expression as he stands on the gods side before looking at the chanting buddhists in the audience and he fondly remembers his 'mortal' days. Closing his eyes, he steps forward to the other side and proclaims that he is on the side of Humans.
The sudden betrayal sparks rage and just like the original, the Seven Lucky Gods take the stage to combat this betrayal but their efforts are rendered null when heimdall only announces Bishamonte as the one and true fighter
To combat Buddha as well as hold true to the rules of Ragnarok, the seven gods have decided to go all out.
[Bishamonebisuhoteibenzaitenjurojinfukurokujudaikokuten] (A/N: yes, the technique name is a fusion of all their 7 names)
A burst of mist appears and from within is a single figure, a young muscular man with black blue long hair tied with beads that have names of sins imprinted on them. A hole where his heart should be, pitch black Sclera and the kanji word for Fortune on both cheeks.
This is ZeroFuku, the god of misfortune and the original form of the Seven Lucky Gods.
The two begin to fight and while it looks like Zerofuku has the upper hand with his Misery cleaver, and even more so when it was transformed into a giant fly swatter. It is soon revealed that Buddha has been using his precognition to read Zerofuku and casually defeat the god of misfortune with the different forms of his Six realms staff.
Eventually the two gods seem to reach some sort of understanding of each other and Zerofuku lets go of his ancient hatred for Buddha at doing a better job than him at letting humans be happier. An otherwise happy situation would have continued if not for his own horns which were actually demonic seeds planted long ago by Beelzebub crawling towards the fallen but happy god.
"No to you, If you want to play then choose someone else" Axel states as he sits in his Vip seat and extends his hand to clench the air and this catches the seed of Hajun, The Demon lord of the Six Heaven.
Axel teleports the seed to himself and it wiggles in his hand, Brunhilde who was casually watching the fight freaks out at seeing the insect like creature wiggling around in Axel's hand.
"W..w…what is that?!!" she asks and Axel informs her that another god had implanted this in Zerofuku to unleash a demon from the underworld to interfere. He crushes the bug and its insect body burns moments later, not even leaving ashes from Axel's black flames.
"Oh right, congratulations!" Axel suddenly says to Brunhilde and she has a confused look on her face until he points at himself while mouthing 'one' and then towards Buddha who is helping Zerofuku up from the floor due to the god of misfortune claiming defeat.
While there were no deaths this round, the crowd booed Buddha who so casually defeated Zerofuku. They soon encounter Axel who taps Buddha's shoulder, "Congrats on a new destiny", he fixes up Buddhas 'usa-chan' shirt before teleporting back to the vip room.
The stadium is cleaned up and the new candidate replacement for Buddha is made, Hades moves to the gods side resting area and encounters a certain lost mortal who doesnt shy away from the Gods presence like most other mortals should and do.
Hades takes on a similar appearance to Poseidon as they are both youthful looking humans as compared to Zeus. With striking silver hair and a glowing blue eyepatch. He wears a simple but formal white suit with blue stripes on it. Across his forehead is a blue tattoo of a wreath and another tattoo around his neck but this time of blue thick stars linked edge to edge to each other around his entire neck.
The previous lost mortal from the gods Vip room soon finds himself on the stage, or at least people assume he is lost due to the red blindfold over his eyes. Yet a few amongst the front row dismiss these frivolous people who are incapable of seeing that which is underneath. They happily educate the common folk about the excellence of the being that has stepped onto the stage, Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China and the righteously proclaimed, King of Men.
As the first emperor takes the stage, Hades begins to take the stage after having fused his brother Poseidon's Trident into his own signature spear and forming a bident. He then sprinkles some of Zeus' ashes over the now twin pointed spear. Underneath what looks like bat like wings are actually fin-like wings that are poised just underneath the twin blades. The ashes form into a yellow zigzag sign, reminiscent of lightning as it is the representation of Zeus. with a silent prayer for his fallen brothers, Hades takes to the stage.
All gods in the audience stand at attention due to the respect they give to the "god that all other gods rely on the Most". The two are now poised across from each other yet their standoff is interrupted by a little girl which had been hiding within the King of Qin's robes. "Geez, why did you go to their room and play around so much, they want to kill you"
"Just another reason for our fight here, makes no difference to the grand scheme of things. Besides, I would have been fine with you by my side" The emperor responds to his little valkyrie, Alvitr, who blushes in response as she chooses to not respond to his words and instead activates the Volundr.
With a burst of power, Qin Shi Huang gained the Almighty Spaulders. A full set of armor over his upper chest that includes shoulder pauldrons, vambraces, and new nail guards that are far longer, akin to spikes on his hands.
The emperor and king of the underworld speak to one another, both claiming their own titles of King yet Qin Shi Huang goes further by stating that he is the greatest king.
The two soon begin to fight as a clash of blows occurs while [Heavenly Hand of Defense], one of five techniques under his signature technique named Chi You, protects as it provides the mortal king the best defense to reduce any and all of hades attacks to nearly nothing yet there still remains the gap of power, speed and outright experience that the human King still must surpass.
He attempts to do this with both his [Mount Tai Dragon Claw], a technique where he uses his sharp nail guards akin to spears to gouge out small bits of flesh from Hades' body. As well as [White Tiger Crescent Moon], his kicking technique where he uses his leg akin to a halberd. This second technique provides Qin Shi Huang the ability to knock hades away from him for an opening needed for his next technique.
[Tortoise Ripple]
With this technique, the mortal emperor is able to use his special qi sight [1] to find weaknesses in Hades' stance and body by judging his Qi flow. From there he compresses air in his mouth and shoots it out. This wind bullet can disrupt his enemies technique, reducing the power of a sure kill technique into just being slightly more harmful which he can then weaken with his heavenly hand of defense and retaliate. That or simply target hades' body to cause him to stiffen up which opens the floor for a followup attack from the human king.
[1] (This is akin to Nen's Gyo which the king has active almost all the time which is why he has the blindfold to weaken it so he didn't strain himself)
The fight reaches a stalemate as Qin Shi Huang loses his blindfold, the centipede like markings on his face don't detract from his good looks as instead he seems to get more intense in appearance.
"You are strong, King of the Netherworld, you have my respect. You fight for your brothers and on behalf of the gods here which makes you a kind king, a loyal king. But I have made a promise to a particular someone that I would become the Greatest King. Therefore, I cannot afford to lose, no matter my opponent." (revamped a line he actually said to hades)
"Also, I can't allow myself to remain idle in my own power when I have such a kind companion to guide me to greater heights. It's a shame that I have only had a change for minor practice, if only he didn't choose to go for a three versus one" The human fighter gives his complaints but also his acknowledgement of Axel who wields a similar power to himself and was willing to openly talk about it then promptly give a vivid demonstration of how his techniques worked.

The veins on Qin Shi Huang's body become prominent as his speed doubles due to the newfound application of Qi, a replica of nens Enhancement abilities. He shoots forward at hades and the god retaliates with his bident but as usual, the heavenly hand of defense acts up but the result is different this time around.
In exchange for taking a slighter higher amount of damage to himself, he was able to channel the absorbed power into his enhancement technique. His speed, which already doubled from the boost, is now tripled as the king's Claws pierce into the gods cheek, gouging it out. Followed up by the crescent moon kick, the god is sent flying backwards.
"Impressive but pushing yourself so far with a technique you don't know will only tip the scales to my victory" The king of the underworld states even with part of his teeth showing through his cheek.
A trail of blood leaks out of the mortal king's mouth as he wipes it away. The unfinished technique does indeed cause self harm, for now. It is caused by a human trying to replicate a slimes (Axel's) physique and Qi/Nen Flow. This is the primary reason for the incomplete method, even after witnessing the various 'human' transformations Axel went through with his mask. His body was still at its core, that which is inhuman.
"If I only need to do this a few more times then I would be able to sever your head, a paltry exchange to secure this Emperor's victory." Qin Shi Huang replies as he knows that the enhancement method is least suited for him. From Axel's explanation, this king is closest to being a specialist and his Chi You technique is his specialist technique that holds both Emission and Enhancement techniques to cover the initial disadvantage of using enhancement.
As such, if Enhancement is ill suited for him, he will go a different route. From Hisoka's and Netero's techniques, he gained the inspiration for another technique. Though after merging with Alvitr he realizes that it's less useful but he doesnt want to leave himself open if he can help it.
[AxCeed State- Mount Tai's Shimmering Peak]
From his hands, a sword gradually forms and with the enhancement running once again, the king of Qin, rushes forwards, [Shi Huang Yan Cut], he swings with his full force, his teeth gritted as his sword clashes against the Bident and then digs partially into the Gods Shoulder before he is pushed away by a kick to his gut.
[Persephone Titan], hades once again grips the back end of his Bident and swings it full force at the king of Qin. With a sword in hand now, he side steps whilst attempting to parry the blow as he knows his heavenly hand of defense was already crushed under this technique. It's how he lost his blind fold in the first place.
His Nen sword creaks under the bident's downward pressure but he gets a plan as he successfully sidesteps the spear, his sword seems to be slashed in half as a result. Yet the mortal emperor does not seem to experience a backlash from his weapon being destroyed. As Qin Shi Huang reaches Hades, his hand which had still been gripped, reforms the sword and slashes out horizontally. The cut heavily injures Hades. Parts of his forearms are cut along with the area just above his waist.
The king retreats to his own violation again. A wise choice as [Pluto Ichor], otherwise known as the Blood of Hades, merges into his bident, it undergoes a shocking transformation as the spear is now a living weapon. Processing the new flow of Qi and power leaves Qin Shi Huang stunned as he receives a powerful blow from Hades.
[Ichor: Deimos. Ichor:Eos]
Deimos is the name of Hades' new 4 pronged spear. The previous twin points double and then elongate for a singular deadly spear tip. The divine weapon is an extension of Hades himself, now alive like Thor's Hammer.
As for Ichor: Eos, it is the spears signature technique which Hades uses to directly pierce through Qin Shi Huang's shoulder. The god attempted to directly pierce his heart but the king dodged at the very last moment, suffering a grave wound for both himself and his valkyrie due to his negligence.
The fight continues but the human fighter slowly weakens, he would have gotten much weaker or even died if he couldn't see Deimos' qi flow but thanks to its link with Hades, he can and thus use Tortoise Ripple to deflect the spear even better than before.
Seeing that his situation was going nowhere fast, Qin Shi Huang activates his link with Alvitr, her name and power being that of Host Guard allows her to transform her original armor state into that of a thicker sword, the Shi Huang Goujian sword.
Then as the battle continued the mortal king used his heavenly hand of defense multiple times to flow the remnant power into his Goujian sword. He eventually released a Yan Cut with that stored power to finally shatter Deimos.
Yet due to the very link it holds with Hades, its destruction signifies the gods defeat as his body too begins to crack and break apart.
"Nothing less... from a king." Hades says his final words as he offers his remorseful whispers about failing his two younger brothers.
"I am grateful that I could speak with you... King of the Netherworld—no. Péngyou (Friend)..." Qin Shi Huang offers his own thanks as he collapses due to his wounds while Hades shatters.
And thus the conclusion of the 7th round.

[2] The techniques name is a homage to [Ax]el whilst also saying Ex[ceed]. It's Qin Shi huangs attempt to convert his qi into Nen and thus use Nen techniques. There is a minor change in their properties as Qi is like a river while Nen is all encompassing of their owner like an air bubble.
