C169: What happened?

Axel is drowsy even as he wakes up, he finds himself lying on something soft and his vision is actually blocked, the only thing he can tell is white and big. The next second he realizes it's Tulips he is lying down against but not because he could see her face or anything from under her sizable mounds but because of the connection to the 'light and sun' laws within Tulips that link her to him.
"Are you alright Axel?" Seeing him stirring, Tulips leans back a bit from her kneeled position to allow Axel a better of his surroundings to find that a few tents were set up around where Axel is. Just outside the Forsaken battlefield. The same battlefield which is roughly a few miles away from where Axel and Tulips are.
"Im fine but what happened after i fell unconscious" he says with a tired voice but quickly getting his energy back as he sits up from his lying down position.
Tulip raises her voice as she begins to explain to Axel. The slime is quite shocked by the series of events that occurred as well as that this all happened in the vicinity of Orario.
What he was told was that after severing Gaius in half and pinning him down with the Katana Rhongomyniad, he had passed out. But what happened next is that Gaius underwent extreme atrophy and realizing that he was dying, it decided to blow itself up.
Yet before it got a chance, Astolfo and the other 2 rushed forward upon sensing the energy buildup. They couldn't see the Zanpakuto version of Rhongomyniad, so they assumed that the hollow was transforming again. They released attack after attack, even calling upon weaker versions of their noble phantasms when a voice, which was likely [Raphael] talking through telepathy, warned everyone of the impending explosion.
The trio began to retreat but everyone was in the blast Radius so Raikou took it upon herself to summon as much lightning energy as she could to combat the slowly releasing blast of energy while Tulips brought everyone to safety with her speed.
The news of the situation paints a grave expression on Axel's face as he quickly begins to sense around for traces of Raikou as Tulips doesnt know what happened to her.
[She is home, host. She sustained injuries but limited the overall destruction released by the hollow. Blythe is attending to her wounds and it will take a week for her to wake up since her soul was injured in the explosion.] [Raphael] informs Axel that through the mana threads, it had brought Raikou back into the [Village of Origin] but as the mana threads were being destroyed under the dense energy released from both Raikou and Gaius' self explosion.
As a result, she suffered a few minor injuries but the worse ones were the ones to her soul but thanks to the greater laws of healing that Blythe now has access to. Blythe has evolved into a full fledged God of medicine and Health thanks to Nightingale's help as well as the influx of worldly laws from the real Rhongomyniad, allowing Axel's territory to become a real world.
The combination of proper worldly laws and faith had pushed Blythe into a proper godly state similar to Alaba who had already realized the understanding of all the magical knowledge it was given. Now it just needs time to become proficient in it. But that's beside the point.
The real point is: that while Axel and the others were fighting for their lives, Blythe … got down and dirty with Florence Nightingale, got her pregnant and based on their combined senses, would give birth in only 3 months. The sheer audacity of the situation almost makes Axel wanna neuter Blythe.
Especially since Blythe still looks like the original tall version of Axel. He is not sure how to feel about this and whether that child would be technically considered his, or is this closer to a twin brother type of situation. For the sake of his own mental health, he will treat it as just a twin brother, younger of course.
While the urge to smack Blythe upside the head for his actions remains, yet as the god of healing is taking care of Raikou, Axel finds himself unable to properly hold a grudge.
Axel recalls the spirit Rhongo sword which was blown away by the explosion but luckily not injured or harmed at all. The same can't be said for the area around Orario and where the city used to be.
The earth was already damaged completely by Gaia when she 'got up', but Axel with his new powers could have created a miniature dungeon to recreate the ground, people would still not have basements but at least their homes would be stable for a long time.
That can not be said about the former city area now. Already the area was greatly devastated by the fight against Alaya which Axel accepts as his fault. If he knew that the ghost woman could do all that she did with stealing the power of various heroes and legends, then he would have moved the fight somewhere else.
Then there was the case with the real and fake Rhongomyniads establishing their own territories in the sky. While this should have ensured that Orario was left unharmed, the collision zone between the 2 spears allowed loose fragments of energy to be blasted onto the ground.
This law energy has both positive and negative aspects. The positive is that anyone who lives above it can get magical power related to those laws whether with or without a falna. But the trade-off is that their body and lifespans become shorter and weaker. This is akin to a nuke, Great power but a single use before dying out.
The law energy isn't even the worst of it, due to Gaius choosing to die by self-explosion. Both the remnant spirit energy as well as the bits of law energy it had absorbed were released into the outside world. The entire former city of Orario was rendered into dust, any memorabilia or item left behind in their homes that could have survived up until now is most definitely gone and destroyed by the explosion.
The energy from the explosion had also seeped into the un-destroyed soil, magically and spiritually contaminating it for eons to come. It is very likely that the area will be forever uninhabitable due to all the magical contaminants.
The energy provides even worse effects than the law energy previously mentioned as it just takes your lifespan and turns you into a hollow while giving people very few powers while the person remains alive. It's equivalent to a 20 year old turning 90 over 10 years. The divine energy at-least would allow people a healthy 40 years of life before killing them and wouldn't turn them into monsters after that.
In a world without a dungeon, they definitely don't need these superpowers but as this can be completely considered his fault, he decides to do something about it while Raikou and the others recover.
