The night, with its sense of foreboding, had finally given way to the gentle glow of the rising sun, casting a warm hue over the city. The canvas above displayed a brilliant blue sky adorned with a scattering of clouds, while a symphony of bird songs filled the air.

Hailey slowly emerged from the grasp of slumber, inhaled deeply, absorbing the invigorating freshness of the early morning.

As she slowly opened her eyes, she found herself in an unfamiliar room, the ceiling above her providing no recognition. With a languid stretch of her arms, she pondered her surroundings, 'This isn't my room,' she thought, her raised eyebrow a testament to her confusion. Her eyes traced the contours of the room until they locked onto Adrian, who laid beside her in peaceful repose. His arms draped over his face, he appeared blissfully unaware of the dawn unfolding.
