Feng Lian was not very happy, but she couldn't do anything about it. As Feng Jing heard this strange news, he asked to knew more about this girl. "Had this guest had a white hairs? Yes why. Because its probably same girl, who was running in the forest." He didn't add, that she destroyed his cultivation and then his horse beat the shit out of him. If he says that everyone in the room will tried to recruit her and he will lost his face and face of his father.
As the dinner ended, no one wasted no time and everyone start plotting their own plans, initiating the search for the mysterious cultivator who had caught their attention. Meanwhile, the other members of the table, fueled by a sense of urgency, began their own quest to locate a girl with white hair dressed in a distinctive red cultivation robe.
On the other hand, Mei Lin remained blissfully unaware of the twisted developments and massive hunt at her, peacefully asleep in her room. Her mind untouched by the turmoil that gripped the caravan nobility in the wake of their dinner gathering.
The next morning, Mei Lin woke up very early and immediately began preparing for her cultivation. Taking her seat on cultivation mat, she satiated herself in the lotus position, she immersed herself in a cultivation state and began cultivating.
After two hours of cultivating, Mei Lin emerged from her cultivation state with nearly none progress. She dressed herself in her cultivation robe and put on her new bamboo-hat with a white veil, ready to go down into the second floor.
Descending to the second floor of the tea house, Mei Lin took her seat near the window, her gaze drifting out over the bustling activity below. Only two other cultivators were on the second floor, a cultivation couple who resided in room number one. Mei Lin didn't talk to them as she settled into her spot and started looking outside at the working slaves who were feeding slugs with some strange kind of weed.
As the morning progressed, Xu Yi made his entrance onto the second floor once again, bearing a tray laden with breakfast for Mei Lin. Setting down the plate before her, he then took her order for tea.
Intrigued by the variety of teas available, Mei Lin opted for a different blend than the one she had tried the previous day. With a determination to explore and experience all the flavors offered, she selected a tea she had yet to taste, eager to expand her palate and discern the nuances of each brew.
As Xu Yi returned with the tea, Mei Lin's chosen blend was served before her, its aroma wafting gently through the air. Seated across from her, Xu Yi regarded her with a warm smile, ready to attend to her needs as she embarked on her quest to find the perfect brew among the offerings of the tea house.
"Hello again, do you need help finding your master?" Xu Yi inquired.
Mei Lin shook her head, as her veil start flowing in the air and her white neck was suddenly exposed. "No need. I have plenty of time to find my master, she must be nearby. I believe everyone is searching for her right now," as she start slowly smiling.
Xu Yi wasn't very happy by the answer, because if Mei Lin wants to go find her master, he will surely go with her. "How long have you been cultivating?" Xu Yi asked, changing the subject. "You're clearly younger than me, yet your cultivation isn't even at first stage BT. Everyone in the caravan usually starts cultivating at age of fifteen, when is their cultivation awakened by the special ceremony."
"I have been cultivating for a month, and I'm only at the middle of the second stage," Xu Yi replied with a hint of frustration. "My father told me that progress is not that slow, but I need to help with the tea house, so I don't have much time to devote to cultivation."
Mei Lin thrown inwardly as shea heard his speed of cultivating and shifted her sight from the outside of the window and looked at Xu Yi for the first time with opened eyes, which were not very clearly be seen through the veil. She looked like a doll, which Xu Yi saw and immediately start blushing.
"I am cultivating water path. What are you cultivating you?" When Mei Lin heard this question, she knew that she need to lie about being blood cultivator. Before thinking for long she got and idea and immediately answered. "I can't tell you, master told me not to tell anybody about my cultivation, because they will have advantage in fights."
Xu Yi fell silent, lost in thought. Meanwhile, the couple of cultivators which was on the second floor from the early morning, remained quiet, but their curiosity piqued by the girl's in the red robe unexpected answer and her mysterious master. As old cultivators, they immediately recognized the significance of her attire. The vibrant red robe marked her as someone of importance, likely from a large sect or a powerful clan. They observed the intricate fabric of her robe, noting its unusual quality which hinted at its considerable expense.
Mei Lin answered to his first question quickly, she will not looked so bad in Xu Yi's eyes. "But I am cultivating about two months. When I will be old enough, I want to join Green Jade sect, because I have a friend there." After hearing her answer Xu Yi didn't suddenly want to stay in caravan and immediately wants to go with her.
Not long after, Mei Lin finished her tea and paid for another one. The tea selection included both normal varieties and four special teas made from spirit herbs, which contained some natural energy and were better suited for cultivators then normal tea. Normal tea only cost gold, while spirit tea required one low grade stone each. With a sense of anticipation, Mei Lin made her choice, selecting the final spirit tea that had yet to grace her palate. Placing her order with Xu Yi, she exchanged one low grade spirit stone as payment, its iridescent glow a testament to the natural energies contained within.
After a few minutes, Xu Yi returned with the last spirit tea. Mei Lin poured herself and Xu Yi a cup. With a quiet nod of gratitude, she offered him the steaming cup, a silent invitation to share in this moment of tranquility.
As Mei Lin closed her eyes and delved into her cultivation state, and she lost sense of outside world around her. Xu Yi remained by her side, his gaze unwavering as he savored the aroma of the tea.
Unlike Mei Lin, who immersed herself fully in cultivation, Xu Yi seemed lost in thought, his mind drifting amidst and her was still looking at Mei Lin. His expression was one of quiet introspection, his eyes alight with the flickering flames of imagination and curiosity.
