Chapter 22 - 22. Blood cultivation

As Mei heard that the tea was made from Li Wei's blood, she realized that she was in huge trouble. "I asked your friend about his blood after he advanced into the second stage BT, so this blood is from a cultivator two stages above you. If you are a true blood cultivator, this tea will help you speed up your cultivation. If I were you, I would not waste time and go back to cultivate to extract the blood from the tea into your Cultivation Sea and purify it."

After that, her master drank the tea and closed her eyes. "You have a few days before you will start turning into the demon, so hurry up." Mei Lin immediately stood up, bowed to her master, and swiftly made her way to her room to begin her cultivation practice.

Just before Mei Lin entered her room and immediately began preparing for her cultivation session. She removed her robe, knowing it would only hinder her movements, and threw it on the floor before the door into her room. As she went into her room she took a moment to center herself on the cultivation mat, focusing on her breath and clearing her mind of any distractions, and knelt upon it, ready to enter the cultivation state and get rid of the poison.

Mei Lin adjusted herself into a lotus position, finding her focus as she entered the cultivation state. The stress of the poison caused her to start sweating slowly, but she paid it no mind. After half an hour of intense concentration, Mei Lin found her center and entered a cultivation state. As she continued to channel her energy, the sweat on her body began to accumulate, giving her the appearance of a bloody Buddha, a testament to her blood path. All water in her body was already transformed into blood, so instead of sweating, she sweat blood.

Not long after, Mei Lin began the arduous task of gathering her blood into the Cultivation Sea, meticulously identifying any blood that wasn't hers and eliminating it. This process consumed nearly the entire day, during which Mei Lin felt her veins drying up, turning her into a dry statue. The pain was excruciating as she drained herself of blood, her body wracked with agony. With each drop absorbed, her mind slowed, her thoughts growing duller. Despite the torment, Mei Lin pressed on, determined to complete the transformation of Li Wei's blood. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, nearly all of her blood had been transferred into her Blood Cultivation Sea.

With her mind sluggish and her body like a mummified corpse, Mei Lin persevered, attempting once again to gather the blood she hadn't managed to control before. After hours of painstaking effort, she managed to collect a little more blood. With all the blood in her cultivation sea, now under her control, Mei Lin start refining it. This process was time-consuming, consuming another day of her efforts. Yet Mei Lin remained resolute, knowing that each step brought her closer to unlocking the full potential of her Blood Cultivation Sea.

After refining all the blood, Mei Lin meticulously purged any traces of poisoned blood she discovered, refining it into her natural energy. Another day passed, and Mei Lin embarked on the arduous task of transferring her refined blood from the Cultivation Sea back into her body. This process was excruciatingly painful, as her dried veins were ripped open to accommodate the returning blood flow. However, Mei Lin persevered, enduring the agony until she finally completed the transfer. With a triumphant smile, she opened her bloody red eyes, and her beauty slowly restored. She meticulously checked for any lingering traces of poison, but to her relief, found none. Mei Lin had completed the challenging process, emerging stronger and more resilient than before.

Exhausted and mentally drained after three grueling days of cultivation, Mei Lin finally ended her cultivation state and struggled to rise from her seated position. Her limbs were heavy with fatigue and her mind shrouded in a fog of exhaustion. Yet, despite the overwhelming weariness that threatened to consume her, a glimmer of satisfaction flickered within her. She had endured the relentless trial, emerging victorious over the relentless demands of her cultivation path and the cruel mission she got from the master.

Summoning her last reserves of strength, Mei Lin waved her hand, and spirit fruit appeared in her hand. Once she took a bite, the delicious taste of its revitalizing essence provided a much-needed boost to her depleted energy stores. Gathering her resolve, she made her way to the bathroom. When she opened the door of her room, she picked up her clothes and turned back to the doors.

This time, doors were already while like before, so she went to them with a thought about a steaming bath. The doors changed color and Mei Lin pushed them open. Once she opened the doors, hot steam leaked outside, covering her bare white legs with pleasured feeling.

Once she entered inside she saw once again a completely different room. The bathroom was two times bigger than her room. The room was round with a magnificent pool in the middle. Mei Lin put clothes on the floor and immediately went near the pool. Her white small hand completely covered in scars touched the water. "Ohh…" Mei Lin immediately went inside.

Entering the steaming waters of the bath, Mei Lin surrendered herself to the comforting embrace of warmth, the soothing heat easing the tension from her weary muscles and washing away blood, while she was covered. For a fleeting moment, she allowed herself to drift in the tranquil sanctuary of the bath, finding solace in the quietude of the moment.

Mei Lin was floating on the surface of the hot water, with only her face sticking out of the water. As she looked at the ceiling, she saw the night sky. It was an illusion created in the room, but Lei Lin didn't mind. She immersed herself in the bathing.

Emerging from the bath rejuvenated and refreshed, Mei Lin put on her cultivation robe and felt the bathroom. With newfound vigor coursing through her veins, she returned to her master's side, a silent vow etched upon her features to persevere, no matter the challenges that lay ahead, in her relentless pursuit of enlightenment and mastery.

"Master, I successfully managed to get rid of the poisonous blood and refine it into natural energy. And I didn't go berserk." Mei Lin expressed her happiness at surviving the blood attack.

"Good. Wait a few days to see if you were successful. If not, the poison will start spreading again. Of course," Mei Lin replied, confident that she had rid herself of the poison. But if not, she would inquire right away about the location of the poison. If the poison appears again, where should I look? Have you checked everything? Yes, I have. Then you need to check what you did not check."

After that, the Deity smiled and remained silent. Mei Lin stood up, bowed respectfully, and then turned around to examine her surroundings. After spending a few hours observing the road, she returned to her room and went to sleep.

As Mei Lin slept, the poisoned blood began rampaging once more. The only place from which Mei Lin hadn't extracted her blood was the bone marrow, and from there, the poisonous blood spread even faster than before. Two hours before sunrise, Mei Lin woke up, her body engulfed in flames of pain as the poisonous blood continued its relentless spread throughout her body.

She immediately sat on the cultivation mat and entered a cultivation state. After two days, she completed the same process as before, but this time, she didn't release her blood back into her body. Instead, she began to wait.

After one more painful day, Mei Lin discovered why she hadn't eliminated all the poison. Small droplets of blood started appearing from her spine and bones. After observing for a while, she realized her fatal mistake. She hadn't attempted to extract blood from her bones. Bones contain blood vessels, and from these, the poisoned blood started spreading again. She understood the challenges Fang Yue must have faced in a similar situation. He wasn't a blood cultivator, so he didn't have the chance to extract poisoned blood from his body.

After discovering that the poisoned blood was in her bones, Mei Lin attempted to extract it but without any success. Mei Lin slowly started to get nervous. Her body felt like a statue, completely immobilized. Only her mind remained active inside the Cultivation Sea, desperately trying to extract the poison. It was a surreal and somewhat comical situation.

Hour after hour, she tried desperately to extract her blood, but without success. "How should I extract that poison? Fuck!" After thinking for a while, she couldn't find any solution. After another day, she began feeling dizzy. Her body had been without blood for nearly three days, and her mind hadn't rested at all. Her mind starting to shut down.

Before she completely lost consciousness, an idea came to her mind. She began attacking the bones with her blood from the Cultivation Sea. The blood was twice refined and filled with her natural energy. Attacking against her not-quite-strong bones was very easy. She initiated her attack in the lower part of her body. After hitting her bones with the blood, she passed out.

Her blood unintentionally started flowing back into her body. Not long after, extreme pain woke her up again. Mei Lin was exhausted. After realizing that her blood was back in her body, she thought about it. 'I need to break my bones and extract poison from them. Why did Master do that to me?' After stabilizing her body. She fell to the ground from exhaustion. After a few hours of forced sleep, Mei woke up. She didn't even go to her bad. After waking up she went to the bathroom to take a bath and pick one spirit fruit with her to enjoy it in the bath.
