Chapter 164 - Chapter 164: The Dragon God Cult

Then, the young man spoke, speaking in the Dothraki language, his loud voice clear enough for everyone within several miles to hear.

"People of the Great Stallion! Warriors of the Dothraki sea!"

All attention was drawn to him. They had never imagined that a man transformed into a dragon could speak the Dothraki language so fluently.

But they immediately bowed their heads submissively, awaiting his judgment.

"I am the messenger of the Dragon God, the incarnation of the Dragon God on earth," he spoke in a solemn tone.

"The Dragon God is the supreme god, the creator of the universe, possessing the virtues of light, life, and creation, as well as being the executor of destiny, order, and truth.

Any belief, any false god, is merely an incarnation of the Dragon God, including the Great Stallion you worship."

When Alaric uttered the last sentence, there was an uproar on the scene.

Many Dothraki reacted strongly to Alaric's words, but most of them just silently accepted them.

After all, how could those ignorant religions maintained only through education, rituals, and mystery compare with the miracles before their eyes?

However, Alaric paid no attention to the Dothraki's reactions and continued his solemn declaration.

"In the beginning, the Dragon God created this heaven and earth with supreme power, dividing it into four continents and separating them with endless oceans.

Later, seeing the earth barren, the Dragon God said, 'Let the earth bring forth living creatures, each according to its kind.'

The first born were dragons, messengers of the Dragon God; the second born were humans, the wise stewards of all things; and the last born were beasts, insects, and wild animals.

They each had their own kind, each had their own duties, forming the world as it is today. After that, the Dragon God left this world, leaving it to develop on its own."

"However, as time passed, the creatures on the earth did not develop as the Dragon God had imagined.

The dragons fell. They indulged in... splendor and enjoyment. They eventually lost their spirituality and became beasts.

And people gradually forgot the greatness of the Dragon God.

They spread out all over the world, forgot the language of the Dragon God, and created their own languages, worshiping their own idols."

"More than a hundred years ago, the last dragon disappeared from this world. You disappeared with it, and so did the magic bestowed upon this world by the Dragon God.

But now, the Dragon God is about to return, and his messengers have descended upon this world.

And now he sadly sees that mankind has forgotten the name of the Dragon God, the holiness of the Dragon God.

They no longer worship him, no longer believe in him. Humanity has lost its redemption, fallen into endless conflict, chaos, slaughter, and desire."

"But God loves the world. The Dragon God has decided to give mankind another chance at redemption.

He has given me authority to rebuild his faith and his kingdom on the ground. He wants to stop the wars of the world, he wants the nations to unite again.

He wants to purify the sins of the world and return this land to peace and tranquility."

"The Dothraki tribe roams the Dothraki sea, making a living by plundering and looting, causing wanton killings and chaos, deep in sin.

Now the Dragon God intends to punish them with divine fire, but out of mercy for the ignorant, he only sent divine punishment to judge their leaders and forgave their followers.

I ask you, warriors of the Dothraki, do you know your sins?"

Faced with Alaric's stern questioning, most Dothraki bowed down humbly and fearfully, confessing their sins.

But suddenly, a loud shout erupted from the crowd.

"Evil heretic, stop deceiving people!"

The Dothraki around him burst into an uproar, eager to distance themselves from this "loyal warrior."

However, some people immediately responded. They were mostly devout followers of the Great Stallion or loyal warriors of Khal Drogo.

Although they had been fearful to speak out against Alaric before, upon hearing him deny their faith and refer to their leaders as sinners, they couldn't contain their anger.

"Blasphemous demon! Shut up!"

"The murderer of Khal Drogo, you will pay for it!"

...

Such rebellious voices echoed one after another.

Alaric's expression darkened, but inwardly, he almost couldn't help but laugh.

He was about to teach a lesson to these rebels as a warning to others, while showcasing his "divine power" once again.

With a gesture, the first protester found grass rapidly growing around his ankles.

In an instant, the grass transformed into deadly vines, binding the protester tightly, rendering him unable to break free despite his struggles, and ultimately strangling him to death on the spot.

Then, wild weeds and vines sprouted crazily under the feet of all the protesters, binding them one by one until they suffocated.

The horrifying scene frightened the Dothraki, who prostrated themselves, loudly admitting their guilt, afraid of suffering the same fate.

Only then did Alaric nod, speaking sternly.

"Those who resist the Dragon God, blaspheme against the Dragon God, shall be punished by divine judgment.

However, you sinners are not beyond redemption. The Dragon God is willing to give you a chance for atonement."

These words immediately sparked hopeful looks.

"The Dragon God will establish a church among you, spreading the faith of the Dragon God. You shall become his blades, defeating all heretics and spreading the faith of the Dragon God throughout the world.

At the same time, you shall assist the Dragon God in unifying the kingdoms, establishing his divine kingdom on earth."

Upon hearing this, the Dothraki stood up one by one, shouting "The Dragon God is above all," swearing allegiance to the Dragon God.

Then, Alaric turned to Daenerys and proclaimed loudly.

"The true heir of the dragons, the princess of Dragonstone, the Unburnt, Daenerys Targaryen, untouched by dragon fire, has successfully passed the Dragon God's trial.

She is the chosen ruler of men and dragons, the representative of the Dragon God on earth, to shepherd his flock.

Dragons will heed her call, fire will be her power.

She will be the sole Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, co-ruler of the Free Cities, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, protector of the realm.

And you shall be her first subjects, her arrows, her blades, loyal to her under the witness of the Dragon God."

Closest to the stone platform, Jorah was the first to kneel down again, shouting, "Her Majesty Queen Daenerys!"

Following him, her handmaidens approached, followed by other Dothraki, men, women, old, and young, all shouting "Her Majesty Queen Daenerys," as they were pushed forward by Alaric.

Daenerys looked around anxiously, but a glance into their eyes told her they had already submitted to her. It was then that she realized she had become a queen.
