All the young wizards were discussing the matter, starting to discuss how Sirius infiltrated Hogwarts.
"Do you think he is still in the castle?" Hermione asked anxiously in a low voice.
"Dumbledore obviously thinks so," Sirius shrugged.
"Do you think he's still in the castle?" Cho Chang asked worriedly as she sorted out her sleeping bag. "But how did he break into the school?"
"He chose Gryffindor, that was his luck, wasn't it?" Hermione said as they crawled into their sleeping bags, propping themselves up on their elbows to talk.
"Maybe he knows how to make himself invisible," Marietta, a few feet away, said, "like appearing from thin air. You know."
"Goodness, don't tell me, as a Ravenclaw student, you don't know?" Hermione looked at Marietta disdainfully.
"Don't say that, Hermione," Cho Chang gently pulled her.
"Perhaps he disguised himself," a fifth-year Hufflepuff student said.
"Or he flew in," Dean Thomas said.
"To be honest, am I the only one who has bothered to read 'Hogwarts: A History'?" Hermione said sarcastically.
"Oh, Alaric, I didn't mean you."
"Probably," Cho Chang asked, "but why do you say that?"
"Because this castle is protected not only by walls, you know," Hermione said, "it's also enchanted with various spells to prevent intruders.
Invisibility won't work. And I'd like to see what kind of disguise can fool those Dementors. They guard every entrance. If he flew in, they would have seen him too."
"What about Polyjuice Potion? Transforming into someone else using Polyjuice Potion," Cho Chang suddenly said, "I wonder if Dementors can see through Polyjuice Potion."
On the other side, the Weasley twins were whispering, "Sirius must have come in through the secret passages.
Hogwarts has many passages that lead out of the school. If he knew the location of these passages, breaking into Hogwarts wouldn't be difficult."
"Maybe he was taught some powerful dark magic by the mysterious figure!" Anthony Goldstein said confidently.
"After all, he was once the top general under the mysterious figure!"
"Alaric, what do you think?" Hermione turned to Alaric, looking curious. "Don't you care about this at all?"
"Yeah, tell us," Cho Chang also looked expectant.
The nearby young wizards all echoed, whatever Alaric, the genius of Ravenclaw, said was highly valued among them.
"In fact, Hermione is right, Hogwarts can indeed prevent most infiltration methods, and Dementors can distinguish most disguises because they identify targets by emotion and scent, not by appearance.
So Polyjuice Potion has no effect on Dementors," Alaric admired Hermione's words and gave her a sweet smile.
"But actually, there are still several ways to freely enter and exit Hogwarts."
"Several ways?" Cho Chang's voice involuntarily raised a few decibels, apparently shocked by Alaric's words.
"The first is secret passages, the school itself has many passages that lead out of the school, although Filch knows most of them, there are still a few hidden ones."
"The second is apparition, although Hogwarts prohibits wizards from apparating, fairies and house-elves are not restricted, and their magic is different from wizards."
"As far as I know, the Black family is one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight families, and the possibility of them having house-elves is very high." On the other side of Alaric, Penelope said gloomily.
"'Sacred Twenty-Eight'? What's that?" Hermione asked curiously.
"Oh, Hermione, you wouldn't be interested in this," Penelope said somewhat disdainfully.
"It's those pure-blood supremacist wizards summarizing the 'true pure-blood' twenty-eight British wizard families to propagate their theory, in short, it's the twenty-eight families who look down on Muggles the most."
"Yes, like the Malfoys, the Lestranges, the Flints, the Parkinsons, the Greengrasses," Marietta chirped in.
"They all have surnames that sound like Slytherins at first hearing."
"You're wrong," Cho Chang reminded, "in fact, the Sacred Twenty-Eight also includes the Longbottoms, the Ollivanders, and the Weasleys!"
"Oh! The Weasleys," Hermione frowned, "the red-haired Weasleys?"
"The red-haired Weasleys!" Cho Chang nodded earnestly.
"I can't believe it," Hermione clicked her tongue, "their family doesn't seem like they would have house-elves."
"Yes, the Weasley family has always been an anomaly among purebloods," Cho Chang shrugged.
"So, what other methods are there to infiltrate Hogwarts?" Hermione looked at Alaric again, her curious eyes gleaming in the darkness.
"There is another one called Animagus, which is almost the only transformation that can deceive Dementors," Alaric yawned and said indifferently.
"Of course, my Animagus is an exception."
Hermione and Penelope immediately burst into laughter. Indeed, no one would feel normal watching a dragon enter Hogwarts.
But Alaric's words still shocked the young wizards.
"It turns out that there are so many loopholes in Hogwarts."
That was almost their only thought.
That night, Dumbledore conducted a thorough search in Hogwarts Castle, including the Astronomy Tower, the Owlery, and the rooms of every professor, without exception.
Unfortunately, they found nothing. Sirius did manage to escape.
In fact, besides the professors, the Dementors were also furious because he boldly entered Hogwarts under their noses.
But Dumbledore refused to let them search Hogwarts, which left them unable to enjoy their feast.
In the following days, everyone in the school talked about Sirius Black.
The rumors about how he entered the castle became more and more mysterious, but everyone believed that the opinion of Alaric was the most reliable.
The portrait of the Fat Lady that was damaged had been taken down from the wall, and in its place was the portrait of Sir Cadogan and his fat Grey pony.
Gryffindor was almost out of luck because Sir Cadogan spent half of his time challenging people to duels and the other half pondering ridiculously complex passwords, changing them twice a day.
In addition, the daily atmosphere at Hogwarts became strange.
Professors took turns patrolling the corridors as if the fugitive could emerge from them at any moment. Harry Potter himself was under close surveillance.
Professors found all sorts of excuses to walk with him in the corridors, and Percy Weasley followed him everywhere like an extremely self-important guard dog.
Even his Quidditch training had to be conducted under the watchful eye of Madam Hooch.
