Chapter 5 - Chapter No. 5 Surya- The sun element user!!

After the intense match, Vali, Jay, and Rudra stood together in the arena, catching their breaths and exchanging triumphant smiles. As they relished their victory, Jay's father, Uncle Avinash, approached them with a proud smile.

"Well done, my boys! That was an impressive display of your magical prowess," he exclaimed, his eyes gleaming with pride.

Jay beamed at his father. "Thanks, Dad. We worked together and learned a lot from each other."

Uncle Avinash turned to Rudra, a welcoming expression on his face. "And who might this be?" he inquired.

Rudra, standing a bit aloof, nodded in acknowledgment. "I'm Rudra, a classmate of these two. We teamed up to refine some magical techniques for the battles."

Uncle Avinash chuckled, observing the dynamics. "New friend, huh?"

Vali nodded, smiling. "Yes, he's become a good friend. Rudra's got a unique way of manipulating sound."

Rudra, however, interjected with a shrug. "Just a classmate, not a friend."

Jay and Vali exchanged amused glances. Uncle Avinash raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Oh, is that so?"

Vali laughed. "He may not admit it, but we're all in this together now."

Jay's father, amused by the banter, changed the topic. "By the way, you guys were chanting something during the battle. What was that about?"

Jay eagerly stepped forward. "It's called a mantra, Uncle. It's a set of words or phrases that help us focus our magical energies and intentions. Vali and I have been crafting them to control our abilities better."

Uncle Avinash looked intrigued. "Mantras, you say? Can you elaborate on that?"

Vali nodded, eager to share their knowledge. "Sure, Uncle. A mantra is like a magical incantation. It helps us channel our magical energies more effectively. For example, my mantra is 'Blood of mine, be still and calm. Flow with purpose, not with harm.' It's like a spell that resonates with my blood manipulation powers, allowing me to control them better."

Rudra, though skeptical, chimed in. "I guess it works. Jay helped me come up with one for my sound manipulation too."

Jay explained, "Exactly! It's about finding the right words that align with the element you're manipulating. The mantra becomes a sort of anchor for your powers."

Uncle Avinash nodded, appreciating the explanation. "Fascinating! The magical world is full of surprises. Keep honing your skills, boys."

Uncle Avinash gave a warm smile to the trio, a mixture of pride and genuine affection in his eyes. "I have to go now, boys. Take care and make the most of your time here at the academy."

As he left, the principal's booming voice echoed across the arena, announcing the names of the students who had successfully passed the entrance exam. "Congratulations to the students of Class D-1: Rudra, Jay, and Vali! Along with their classmates, they will now report to their class teacher, Surya sir."

Excitement bubbled within them as they joined the crowd of students making their way to Class D-1. The air was charged with anticipation as the names of other classes and their respective teachers were announced. Each student had a unique power, and the variety of abilities on display painted a vivid picture of the academy's diversity.

In the classroom, Vali, Jay, and Rudra found themselves amidst a sea of students, each with their magical prowess. The room buzzed with energy as they eagerly awaited the arrival of their class teacher. A 2nd-year student, overhearing their confusion, leaned in and whispered, "Surya sir is in the forest area. You might find him there."

Following the directions, the trio ventured into the academy's forest area, a realm teeming with magical flora and fauna. As they approached, they felt a sudden increase in temperature, the air crackling with the intensity of heat.

Turning a corner, they discovered Surya sir, comfortably dozing on a chair with one leg casually propped on another. Vali couldn't help but remark, "The temperature suddenly changed."

Jay added, "It's hot in here."

A second-year student passing by warned them, "Don't get too close; your bodies might vaporize. Be careful." He proceeded to explain the nature of Surya sir's power – the sun element, capable of manipulating heat and light to extreme levels.

Just as they absorbed the information, Surya sir stirred from his slumber, opening his eyes with an air of nonchalance. With a casual stretch, he introduced himself, "Surya, your class teacher."

Surya sir, with a relaxed demeanor, scanned the trio before him. "Well, well. New additions to Class D-1. I hope you all have what it takes to withstand the heat, both literally and metaphorically."

Vali, Jay, and Rudra exchanged glances before introducing themselves.

"I'm Vali, and my power lies in blood manipulation," Vali said, a hint of confidence in his voice.

Jay followed, "I'm Jay. My element is water."

Rudra, maintaining his nonchalant attitude, added, "I'm Rudra, and I can manipulate sound."

Surya sir raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Blood, water, and sound. Quite the eclectic mix we have here. Let's see if you can handle the sun's heat." He grinned, revealing a sense of amusement.

As they settled into the classroom, Surya sir explained the intricacies of the sun element. "In this academy, understanding your powers is crucial. My sun element allows me to control heat and light. I can create intense beams of sunlight, manipulate temperature, and even conjure illusions by bending light. But be warned, excessive exposure to my powers can be quite... uncomfortable."

He paused, studying their reactions. "Now, tell me, Jay. How did you use your water powers during the entrance exam? I've heard the rumors, but I'm curious to hear it from you."

Jay, slightly taken aback by the direct question, composed himself. "Well, during the battles, I used water shields for defense and manipulated water currents to control the battlefield. In the end, it came down to precision and adapting to my opponent's moves."

Surya sir nodded in approval. "Adaptability is key. Water is a versatile element, but it requires finesse. Good work, Jay."

Turning to Vali, he continued, "And you, Vali. Blood manipulation is a rare ability. How did you manage to control it during the exam?"

Vali recounted the struggles and triumphs of mastering his blood manipulation powers, emphasizing the role of the mantra in maintaining control.

Surya sir, leaning forward with intrigue, raised an eyebrow. "Mantra, you said? Who introduced you to that?"

Vali hesitated for a moment before responding, "My father. He taught me the significance of using powerful words to enhance my control over blood manipulation."

Surya sir nodded, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Mantras are potent tools indeed. The words you choose can significantly amplify your power level. I, too, am a practitioner of mantras. The more powerful the mantra, the greater the enhancement to your abilities."

Rudra, who had been quietly observing, couldn't help but interject with a hint of skepticism, "So, words have magical powers now?"

Surya sir chuckled, "Not the words themselves, young man, but the intention and resonance they carry. A well-crafted mantra aligns with your elemental power, serving as a conduit to channel and amplify it. It's a subtle yet profound aspect of mastering your abilities."

Jay chimed in, "It's all about focusing your magical energies. The mantra acts as a guide, helping you tap into the full potential of your powers."

Surya sir, impressed by their understanding, leaned back in his chair. "You youngsters seem to have a good grasp of the mystical arts. Mantras are just one aspect; there's much more to explore in the realm of magic."

Vali, curious about Surya sir's mantra, asked, "Do you mind sharing your mantra with us, Surya sir?"

Surya sir grinned, appreciating Vali's curiosity. "Certainly. My mantra goes, 'Flames of the sun, dance in radiant glory. Heat and light, heed my story.' It resonates with my control over heat and light. Crafting a mantra is a personal journey, and each one is unique to the individual's elemental affinity.

The trio absorbed the wisdom shared by their sun-element teacher, Surya sir. As they left the forest area and returned to their dormitories, a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie filled the air.

Back in their room, Vali, Jay, and Rudra relaxed on their respective beds. Vali broke the silence with a satisfied sigh. "Well, that was something. Surya sir and his sun powers are no joke."

Jay nodded, "True, but it's exciting. We're in a class with diverse powers, and there's so much to learn from each other."

Rudra, reclining with a casual demeanor, added, "Yeah, and I can't believe we're here, at the magical academy. It's like stepping into a whole new world."

Vali grinned, "And don't forget the intense battles we had during the entrance exam. That was a real test of our abilities."

Their conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door. When Vali opened it, they found themselves face to face with a girl who exuded an air of confidence. "Hey, are you guys from Class D-1?" she asked.

Jay nodded, "Yeah, that's us. You are...?"

"I'm Aria," she replied with a friendly smile. "I heard you guys did quite well in the entrance exam. Mind if I join you? I'm your classmate, after all."

Vali motioned her in, "Sure, come on in, Aria."

As Aria settled on an empty bed, Jay couldn't help but ask, "What's your power, Aria?"

Aria's eyes sparkled with excitement. "I control the wind. It's exhilarating, really. I can manipulate air currents, create gusts of wind, and even form protective barriers."

Rudra raised an eyebrow, "Wind, huh? That sounds pretty cool."

Aria chuckled, "It is! But hey, I heard you guys talking about mantras earlier. That's an interesting way to enhance magical abilities."

Vali nodded, "Yeah, it helps us focus our energies. Each of us has a unique mantra tailored to our elemental powers."

Aria leaned forward, intrigued. "Mind sharing yours?"

Jay and Vali exchanged glances, and then Vali decided to reveal his mantra, "Mine goes, 'Blood of mine, be still and calm. Flow with purpose, not with harm.'"

Aria's eyes widened, "That's poetic! And Jay, what about you?"

Jay smiled, "Mine is, 'Waves of power, rise and fall. Protect and guide, through magic's call.'"

Rudra, leaning back, couldn't resist a sarcastic comment, "And here I thought I was the only one surrounded by poets."
