Tlou was unsure of how things came to be, or rather how he let things develop like this. Who would have thought he would end up as some no good alcoholic? This morning he was thrown into the back of a police van after being reported for domestic violence. Now lying on the floor of his cell with time to reflect, he realised that it never had to be this way. He never had to pick a random humanities degree to study, just because of his bad marks. He never had to drop out just because the workload was too much. He never had to start working in construction, then later become a garden boy. He never had to sleep with his employer's daughter and earn himself a few broken ribs and a blue eye. He never had to start using booze and weed to forget about his problems. And worst of all is that he never had to believe the horrid voice that told him that such is fate. He once had grand dreams of being one of the greats, but then understood that he would never be great. He didn't have enough of anything other than time and money. No smarts, no courage, no wisdom, no creativity, no talent, no perseverance. There can not be winners without losers, there can not be successful people without people who have failed. And so, since the day he was born, Tlou was assigned to be small. A piece of nothing. He was never what he thought he was, and he would never be who he wanted to be.
" Ha..haha..hahahahaha, HAHAHAHAHAH" By himself he began laughing wildly. 'What a joke!', he thought to himself, ' And it's a funny one at that!!'. Warm tears were falling, mixing with his snot. " SHUT THE FUCK UP!!" a voice exclaimed from out of the cell, accompanied by approaching footsteps and the sound of the cell opening. An officer in blue walked in and held him up by the collar, *SMACK*, he slapped Tlou. "I hope this is the first and last time I'll have to shut you up," the officer said before dropping Tlou. Tlous, who was already crying, began to cry more due to the pain. But the laughter never stopped, if anything it was even louder. " You think this is a joke?" the officer asked in anger. "Wait! hahah..*sniff* I can explain *sniff*" Tlou began to calm down. " I don't care about your explanation just stop bothering me sick fuck" The officer turned his back but not even a second later Tlou began laughing again. This sent the officer off the edge, he turned back to Tlou and started kicking him repeatedly, making sure to stomp the breath out of his chest. Tlou curled into a ball and tried covering his head, but the officer still broke a tooth and also kicked one of Tlou's eyes, making half of his vision go near black. He hated scum like this, always eager to dish out their anger on people who can't fight back, but can never display the same vigor in front of another man. After stomping Tlou he was out of breath, he huffed and left the cell, locking it. Tlou was no longer laughing, he was wheezing and clutching his eyes, trying to breathe and suppress the pain. *cough cough*he went into a fit of coughing trying to get all the blood out of his lungs. His vision began fading, he felt so tired and weak. 'It's cold, I'm tired, I'll sleep for a bit' he thought. He crawled to the corner of the cell and lay down with his back against the wall, then he began to sleep. He was the type of person to always have trouble sleeping, but tonight he felt himself drifting off quite effortlessly. 'My prayers for good sleep have finally been answered', he slowly lost conscience.*click* " Ah shit", he heard a voice but the following events were too much of a blur. On December 15, 20223 around 20:46, Tlou died.
And no one knew
