Chapter 1 - The Final Duel

With a bloodied body and hitched breath, Hiroki lifted his sword one more time. Across from him, the Conqueror of Disaster, Atlas, stood in a similar state. Both warriors, battered and bruised, locked eyes. Despite the pain coursing through their bodies, their determination was unwavering.

"This is the last, damn monster... I will kill you this time..." Hiroki growled, his voice echoing in the eerie silence.

"Heh, you should see yourself before talking. That body of yours will be my dinner tonight, stupid hero," Atlas sneered, his eyes glinting with cruel amusement.

The tension between them was palpable, the air thick with anticipation. Then, in a flash, they lunged at each other. Their swords clashed, sparks flying as metal met metal. The sound of their battle echoed through the desolate landscape, a testament to their willpower.

Hiroki grunted as he blocked a vicious strike from Atlas, his muscles screaming in protest. Sweat trickled down his face, stinging his eyes, but he blinked it away. He couldn't afford to lose focus, not when the stakes were this high.

Atlas, on the other hand, roared with laughter, his attacks growing more frenzied with each passing second. His eyes were wild, filled with a savage joy that sent chills down Hiroki's spine.

Their battle raged on, a dance of death under the crimson sky. Every strike, every block, every movement was a desperate struggle for survival. Their bodies were pushed to their limits, their strength waning with each passing second.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the conclusion was confirmed. Both warriors, their bodies trembling with exhaustion, launched their final attacks. Their swords met in the middle, a deafening clash that seemed to shake the very earth beneath them.

"Hey, you said you wanted to make my body your dinner, but what's this?" Hiroki taunted, his voice laced with pain and defiance.

"Shut up, as long as your body is dead, I can eat you..." Atlas retorted, his voice strained.

With a final burst of energy, they pushed against each other, their swords aiming for the other's heart. Their eyes locked, each seeing their reflection in the other's gaze. They continued to exchange words, their voices growing fainter as their strength waned.

The world seemed to slow down as they prepared for the inevitable end. Their breaths hitched, their hearts pounded in their chests, and then, with a final push, they drove their swords home.

"Is this the end?" Hiroki thought to himself as he finally let out a sigh of relief. He knew with this last attack, both he and Atlas would meet their end. But he couldn't help but feel a sense of peace. This was the end of his fight, and he knew that after this, no more disaster would trample on this world.

"It seems I've stopped your plans again..." Hiroki said, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Tch, shut up... I don't care anymore. Whether it's this world or humanity... With your existence here, I knew it would be hard. But know this, Hero... My death doesn't conclude the end of the disaster..."

"What-" Hiroki tried to ask, but his body began to fall on its own, just like Atlas. He could feel the cold grip of death slowly creeping up on him.

As he lay there, his life slowly ebbing away, Hiroki's mind began to drift. He thought about his journey in this world, the first time he was summoned, the first time he found companions. He remembered the joy, the sorrow, the rage - every moment etched deeply into his heart.

And then, in his final moments, he thought about his family in his real world. He remembered their smiles, their laughter, the warmth of their home. A pang of regret hit him. His goal had been to defeat the monster and return to his world, but it seemed that he had failed.

With a final sigh, Hiroki closed his eyes, ready to embrace the end. His last thought was of his family, their faces etched in his mind as he drifted into the unknown.

He has drifted to an unknown space where there is nothing except a piece of his memories.Hiroki look at each memories and discover that this is a random scene he had experience he had...Wheter it's in this fantasy word or his real world.

It show how his life goes....Something that Hiroki itself almost forgotten about.

The last pieces he saw was a memories of his family, but this time the memories is blurry like he didn't get to see their faces..

"Hiroki... Hiroki..."

The sound of someone calling his name slowly pulled Hiroki out of the darkness. As he opened his eyes, he saw a modern-looking ceiling - a stark contrast to the world he had just left behind.

Confused and disoriented, Hiroki tried to sit up, but found that he was too weak. He looked around the room, trying to make sense of where he was.

And then, he saw her - a woman with a warm smile on her face, her eyes filled with tears of joy.

"Hiroki, you're awake," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. "I thought I had lost you."

"Who are you?" Hiroki asked, his voice barely above a whisper. His head is a little dizzy as his mind trying to adapted to both of the memories he see before...

"I'm your mother," she said, tears streaming down her face, but her warm smile didn't wear off on her face.

"You've been in a coma for months. We didn't know if you were ever going to wake up."

Hiroki's mind was spinning. Coma? Months? He couldn't remember anything after the car crashes. Was this all just a dream?

But as he looked at his mother, he knew that this was real. He was back in his own world, with his own family. He tried to speak, but his throat was dry and his voice was hoarse.

"Take it easy, Hiroki," his mother said, placing a glass of water on the bedside table. "You need to rest."

He nod as he accepted the glasses from her.

Hiroki slowly sipped the water, his mind racing. He remembered the battle with Atlas, the moment when he thought he was going to die. And now, he was here, in his own world, with his own family.

'Family,but there's something wrong...'

As he looked at his mother, he felt a sudden shock. She looked older, more tired, as if she had been through a lot. And then he remembered - the reason why he had been summoned in the first place.

His mother had been sick, and he had wanted to save her.So he tried to gain some money so he can sent her to the hospital and take a check up.

Despite being a student, his schedule is more fit than others, fill with his part time jobs...

But just when he finally gain enough money,...he involved in the car crash..He didn't remember what exactly happened, but his mind just thinkjng about his mother, before he summoned to another world.

But now, he was back in his own world, and his mother was still alive. That is mean it's not late.

He suddenly remembered his last fight..A new question suddenly erupted in his mind.

Had he defeated Atlas and saved his world?

"Hiroki, are you ok?You suddenly dozed off.Is your head still hurts?"

His mom asked while her hand hold Hiroki's hand tightly.

'...Yeah it's over..'

"It's nothing mom.. Don't worry,I'm in the pink now."

_______________

Over the next few days, Hiroki slowly regained his strength to walk. His mother told him everything that had happened while he was in a coma - how his friends had visited him, how the doctors had worked tirelessly to save him.

And as he lay in his bed, surrounded by the people he loved, Hiroki knew that his journey wasn't over yet. He had been given a second chance at life, and he was determined to make the most of it.
