Professor Snape returned to the headmaster's office with the seriously injured Dumbledore.
Along the way, Snape did not inform the other professors.
The same goes for Dumbledore who woke up halfway.
The two tacitly decided not to speak.
While Dumbledore sat in the headmaster's seat.
Professor Snape took out a bottle of potion and placed it in front of him.
"Drink this to curb the curse on your hand."
"I've seen it when I came back, and this is probably the most useful method."
Saying these words coldly, Snape was about to turn around and leave.
"How long can I live?"
A weak voice behind him forced him to stop.
"Probably a year at most."
Dumbledore frowned.
Such a short period of time was not enough for him to pave the way for Harry's future.
He had thought he would die just before the final battle with Voldemort.
He didn't expect death to come so soon.
Yes, that's right, in order to defeat Voldemort who might return with a new body, Dumbledore had planned his own death very early on.
Because that would be the only way for Voldemort to feel at ease and boldly step into the trap he had set up.
"Severus, why?"
Forget about the future.
What Dumbledore couldn't understand at the moment was why Snape would betray him.
Turning his back to the old man behind him, Snape was silent for a long time before asking, "Albus, why does Potter speak Parseltongue?"
Dumbledore was taken aback for a moment, his eyes actually averted a little.
Fortunately, Professor Snape had his back turned to him at the moment.
Since he didn't hear the answer from the person behind him, Snape gave a mocking smile.
"Why did Potter have a headache when he was close to the Dark Lord?"
Waiting for a few seconds, Snape turned sharply and walked over to Dumbledore.
"Headmaster, I recently received news that since Mr. Potter returned to that Muggle family, he would have dreams related to the Dark Lord at night. Why is that?"
Facing Professor Snape every step of the way, Dumbledore sighed: "Actually, there are many things I don't understand, such as how many Horcruxes Voldemort created."
"But why Harry became like this, although it has not been confirmed, I already have some guesses in my heart."
Dumbledore glanced at his right hand, thinking for a moment.
"Ten years ago, Voldemort's killing curse was blocked by Lily Potter's sacrifice, and the two died together."
"Voldemort, who had already made several Horcruxes, his soul should have become extremely unstable."
"Then part of his soul flew out of his body and attached to the only living being present at that time."
"Curse of Blood Sacrifice!" Snape said coldly.
Dumbledore looked at him in surprise, he seemed really curious about how he would know about such an ancient spell.
The moment he saw the old man's eyes, Professor Snape's heart sank.
Unexpectedly, Lucas was right again.
He took a deep breath to calm himself down.
"So, Potter became a living Horcrux?"
Dumbledore looked up at Snape, but quickly looked away, as if he had done something wrong.
"Well, that's right!"
"Heh~" As expected.
Professor Snape sneered.
Immediately afterwards, an angry voice sounded in the Headmaster's room.
"So the boy must die in the end, too, right?"
"I'm not sure. I'm also looking for a solution. If Harry can live, even if I have to die for it, I'm willing!"
Dumbledore stood up and said.
Unexpectedly, Professor Snape was not impressed at all and just stared at the old man in front of him coldly.
Then he asked word by word: "If there is no other way, does Potter have to die?"
Dumbledore looked down at the ground and nodded slightly.
"That's right, if my guess is right, Voldemort has to do it himself."
"So, you brought that kid into the wizarding world just to raise him like a pig for slaughter?"
"Severus, it's not what you think it is!"
"You protect him just to let him die in the end?"
Snape asked with a sad look in his eyes.
To see him like this, Dumbledore seemed to have thought of something.
"Are you starting to care about that kid?"
Snape didn't answer, but drew his wand and cast his Patronus.
When he saw that graceful doe jumping happily in the room, Dumbledore was shocked.
"Lily! It's been more than ten years, and you still…"
"Yes, always!"
Snape looked at the doe, and there was a touch of tenderness in those normally cold eyes.
"And that's why Professor Snape betrayed you, Headmaster!"
The sudden voice surprised the two of them and they turned to look towards the spiral staircase.
"Lucas Grindelwald…"
Hearing Dumbledore whisper his name.
With his hands behind his back, Lucas squeezed his magic wand tightly.
"Good evening, Headmaster!"
"Welcome, I have been waiting for you for a long time."
Seeing that Dumbledore didn't explode suddenly, Lucas silently breathed a sigh of relief.
Probably because he didn't want Lucas to see him as weak, Dumbledore was acting as he usually did when he made his way to the Round Table.
The three people in the room took their seats and Dumbledore proceeded to take out candy skillfully.
"It was really such an amazing magic, it seems that you are much stronger than I imagined."
"Headmaster, as a teenager, if I don't have some unique means, how can I suppress the people of the Saints Group?"
After Lucas finished speaking, he asked the house elf to bring a cup of black tea.
Seeing Lucas calm and relaxed, Dumbledore sighed inwardly: "Tell me about your request this time."
"A request? I don't have any requests. On the contrary, I bring good news to you."
Seeing Dumbledore's curious look, Lucas said with a smile: "My people saw that Peter Pettigrew escaped to Albania."
"And he was seen holding a baby-like thing in his arms, and they are on their way back to England at the moment."
'How, isn't this bad news?'
Dumbledore's face became very ugly. Of course he knew what Peter Pettigrew was bringing back.
"It's really good news, Lucas, so what do you want?"
"Me? I just want to live a peaceful life, and earn endless Galleons every day."
It really was Lucas' dream.
With three or five girlfriends, to sleep until he wakes up naturally every day, counting money until his hands cramp.
This is probably what a lot of men dream of.
"It's just that some stupid retarded megalomaniac intends to destroy my dream, and the Saints and Death Eaters are bound to be incompatible, so I have to prepare in advance."
"Then these are your preparations too?"
Asked Dumbledore, holding out his right hand.
Seeing the curse on the old man's hand, Lucas frowned.
"It's really a terrible curse, and you still keep wearing this Horcrux ring until now, it's not good for your health."
"I think it would be better for you to give this ring to me and let me destroy it, what do you think?"
Seeing the greed in Lucas' eyes, Dumbledore smiled and took off the ring and handed it to him.
"Okay, I'll leave it to you."
Snape wanted to stop it, but knowing that Lucas is not a reckless person, he lowered his raised hand again.
Under the gaze of the two, Lucas actually took the ring.
The black anti-magic force covered the ring and the so-called curse and black magic were instantly broken.
With a little force, Lucas snapped off the black stone on the ring and a purple colored magic appeared in the palm of his hand which caused a piercing wail to echo in the Headmaster's office.
After a few seconds, Dumbledore said in surprise.
"It seems that this is not the first time you have come into contact with Horcruxes."
"Indeed."
After Lucas finished speaking, he took out the "Ancient Black Magic Records" and "Salazar Slytherin Research Notes".
"Headmaster, why don't you read the contents of these two books first, and we will talk after you finish reading them."
Dumbledore opened the two books and placed them next to him.
But he was more curious now what kind of magic Lucas used just now, because he actually felt a mortal threat from the black colored magic.
And the silent Professor Snape felt the exact same way. He looked at the blond boy beside him, his eyes full of inquiry.
Dumbledore read the contents of the two books within minutes.
At the same time, he already knew in his heart that the two people in front of him knew as much about the curse of blood sacrifice and Horcruxes as he did.
"Okay, I've finished reading the books, what's next?"
Lucas put away the two books.
Looking at the old man with a tired face in front of him, he said, "Headmaster, the three-year deal we agreed on at the beginning is already over."
"Now let's talk about our future cooperation? I can help you defeat Voldemort, and I can help you protect Harry, and I even have a way to lift your curse."
