As I walked through the forest, observing the scenery and paying attention to any sounds, I heard the footsteps of a small creature. My instincts told me this was the sound of prey. My stomach was already starting to rumble, demanding fresh prey. So, I took the risk and followed the sound.
Hiding in some bushes, I observed the creature that made the sound. I saw a dark brown rabbit with two spikes on its back, eating some tree bark. My eyes instantly focused on the prey. My heart slowed its beating, and the muscles in my body began to accumulate strength. I was prepared to pounce at any moment.
Suddenly, my back felt cold, and my instincts screamed in my head to dodge whatever was coming from the back. My body used the accumulated strength from before to jump forward and dodge the attack.
I jumped a few meters, then immediately looked behind me. The rabbit had already run far away, and in the bushes where I stood, a menacing white tiger almost three times my size appeared. It looked at me with interest, seemingly surprised that I could dodge its deadly claws, which were sunken deeply, fully showing their metallic luster.
Seeing this mighty predator, one thought came to my mind: fight. I had to fight this powerful foe; there was no showing my back to such an opponent.
My eyes started trembling from nervousness. This was my first fight in this life, and my first opponent looked to be a fierce one.
The white tiger looked at me with amusement and curiosity, clearly not seeing me as a threat, believing that because of my size, I was not its match.
Then, without any warning, the tiger leaped toward me, trying to crush me with its claws. I immediately dodged to the side and ferociously attacked with my front claws.
*Shreek.*
My hand went numb, my claws barely scraping the skin; the muscles beneath its fur were like metal pipes, hard and monstrously powerful.
Seeing that it was hurt by such a small prey, the tiger went mad. It swung its huge claws towards me. I ducked.
*Crack. Splinter.*
A huge tree, ten meters behind me, split into dozens of pieces. Immediately, my heart went cold.
