The emperor's Knight stared horrified at zero's body watching his injury ooze out a huge amount of blood that he didn't see the savage aiming for another attack.
The beast growled at him and swung a claw in the air but before getting to him sensed an attack coming for it.
It paused and instead swung it in the direction of the attack,letting out a huge ghust of wind that flung off the object aiming for him.
General Fushin who had just thrown his sword at it watched awestriken.
He had never seen a savage use magic before and certainly had never seen one this huge.
It's height was almost twice the usual savage they fought,it's fangs larger and it appeared a whole lot fiercer.
He quickly erected a solid earth to enclose it,away from a distracted Gerald before appearing beside the knight.
Gerald's whole body trembled as he covered his ears would both hands and let out a large shriek.
At first it was General Ren who had risked his life for his sake now Zero would die because of him that was more than enough bad luck in a day,he couldn't take it anymore.
Gerald felt himself going crazy as he dropped to his knees, letting the tears flow freely down his face while he grabbed the bleeding spot on Zero's chest.
General Fushin made a move to place a hand on his shoulder but just then,the savage broke through the earth walls around it, sending solid rocks of earth flying into the air in different directions.
Just before a large one hit them, general Fushin chanted a spell and a large piece of rock curved over them...
Gerald looked in the direction of the beast bit didn't care,he made no move to attack it as countless Ill thoughts ran through his mind,who knows who would die next because of him.
If he hadn't meddled Zero would still be alive.
He Wondered if Ren would beat the imposter in his condition, would General Rengyotsu be the next to die?.

Gerald went silent and stared down at Zero whose eyes was partly open.
"The Alpha's Incanate that's why_"He paused and coughed up blood before turning his head to the side and back at Gerald.

"Zero!...you...you're alive!!!...dont die on me!"Gerald's lit up tired voice boomed.
"That's why it's different.It..it just reincarnated so it hasn't mastered it's magic yet,you can still bea..You_you must live don't let them take you...why did you leave the em...."
Zero paused and shut his eyes before his head feel freely sideways.
"No!No!...Zero!stay with me!... please...Zeroooo!!!"
"Can't you still hear his shallow heartbeat? he's still alive....go get that thing,I'll heal him!"General Fushin said as he knelt beside Zero and carried him to a tree.
Gerald found strength finding him as he slowly rose to his feet and pulled out his sword.
Only then was he able to take a good look at what stood Infront of him.
It was huge no doubt and he had never heard of a savage this big.
He had questions for the Emperor which if he got no answers to he would search through ancient hidden scripts to find answers if he had to.
Zero's voice appeared to have brought him back to his usual self.
As his wings spread out he swore to tear the savage up into countless bits avenging for every of Zero's tissue it's claws had torn.
Gerald drew closer for a hit but the savage growled in his face,releasing a huge a blast of flames from its mouth.
As the flames drew closer him,Gerald parted it and forged ahead.
The savage growled and spat out more flames at Gerald, following him as he flew encircling it.
In the brief moment it stopped spitting out flames to let out an agitated growl, Gerald found an opening.
He went for it, flying straight for Its chest.
Amidst the smoky mist surrounding it,Gerald's sword was hindered by something from landing a direct hit.
He strained to see and his eyes caught sight of a green barrier.
Gerald hit it severally but it didn't give way.
When he sensed it's huge hands aiming to squash him he let himself land.
He shielded his sword before taking a solid stance,with both arms flexed before him,one behind the other which was slightly bent towards his right side.
Then his eyes glowed green allowing him to take control of the earth below the savage
Gerald smoothed the earth and forcefully slide it away from under it's feet throwing it off balance.
Just as he expected,it slipped and fell, throwing up dust in the air and landing on a few savages behind it.
Gerald drew his sword and went for his abdomen,slitting his way through it as he flew for it's chest.
This time his blade kissed flesh,just as he thought,the barrier was down.
Now he understood what Zero had said earlier about it having not yet mastered it's magic yet.
When Gerald reached its heart,he grabbed his sword with both hands and stabbed multiple times,yelling out his lungs.
Each stab only making him hunger for more as he envisioned the blood oozing out from Zero earlier.
He kept stabbing and soon began tearing through it,throwing out huge chunks of flesh as he did.
His sword tearing off the flesh while his strong hands,aided by his long nails pulled it out,tossing it aside.
Gerald's hand dug deep into it till he touched what felt like its heart judging by the great vessels coming out from it.
He dug in a second hand and forefully pulled out a heart,the weight of two toddlers.
As Gerald drew it closer to his mouth a hand grabbed his arm.
