The death before the life

"Surtr's roaring flames danced in the dark sky, illuminating the battlefield with a reddish glow. Erevan stood tall, his dark cape billowing in the wind, as he summoned the power of darkness, preparing for the impending battle. Their gazes locked, both filled with determination and anger.

Surtr: 'Reckless necromancer, dare you stand against me? You only delay the inevitable destruction of Hexerus!'

Erevan: 'Surtr, your arrogance will be your downfall. I'm willing to do anything to protect this continent and its people. Your flames don't intimidate me.'

Surtr wielded his flaming sword with impressive mastery, creating devastating waves of heat. Meanwhile, Erevan tapped into forbidden knowledge to summon a lich, a dark and powerful creature.

Surtr: 'Undead? You think they can rival my power?'

Erevan: 'Death is my ally, Surtr. And this lich I've summoned is proof. It feeds on your own energy, becoming even more formidable.'

The attacks clashed with unprecedented violence. Surtr unleashed devastating fireballs, reducing everything in their path to ashes. Erevan and the lich countered with a combination of necromantic energy bolts and underworld spells, attempting to find a breach in the fire giant's defense.

Surtr: 'I won't be defeated by your dark tricks, Erevan!'

Erevan: 'We'll see, Surtr. Darkness will prevail over flames!'

Their powers collided, creating energy explosions that shook the surroundings. The ground trembled beneath their feet, trees consumed in infernal flames. Empowered by Surtr's energy, the lich fiercely engaged in the battle.

Finally, after a fierce struggle, Erevan and the lich managed to weaken Surtr. The fire giant showed signs of weakness, his strength gradually waning.

Erevan: 'It's over for you, Surtr. Your flames will die out, and Hexerus will be saved.'

Surtr: 'Hahaha! Only death awaits you, cursed human!'

Suddenly, an explosion of unprecedented intensity occurred. Erevan, caught at the heart of this blast, was hurled deep into a chasm. The force of the explosion sent him 20,000 feet underground, transporting him toward death and beyond."
