Chapter 20 The ancient vampire progenitor and Karmic dragon I.
''Wow, to think something so magical truly exists.'' Kaile said in wonder.
He just finished comprehending the second line of the Genis scripture, although the information isn't usable now, it's definitely valuable for the future.
Now Kaile understands why Sophia said he would regret it if he doesn't absorb Genis energy.
Kaile wondered after he learned the first line, just what was Genis energy used for?
Would you create a core like in those cultivation novels.
Would you be able to turn it or use it as a form of mana?
Well the answer to all those if both yes and no.
Genis energy is used to evolve oneself in a direction either subconsciously, or actively.
For those people that didn't comprehend the first line, and just passively absorbed the Genis energy for one month will evolve subconsciously in whatever way their subconscious mind desires.
But to anyone that understands their true self, they can have a more active role on how they chose to evolve in the future.
Kaile always read three different yet distinct books, each book had a different race protagonist, one was origin human, the next vampire, and the last a dragon.
The thing all races had in common was their unity as a race, either as a means of survival, or just because their race instinctively protects each other due to bloodlines.
The ancient vampire progenitor.
A being that's the start of a whole race.
A being that can elevate their entire race to new heights as long as their progenitor power is fully explored.
The ancient vampire progenitor had white long hair, and orange eyes.
His bloodline was unique, and has two known phases in which the first phase is called earthly elemental bloodline.
The earthly elemental bloodline allows the progenitor to manipulate, not generate four elements.
Fire
Water
Air
Earth
In the first phase, the ancient vampire progenitor has to gain proficiency in manipulating the four elements around him, once he reaches a high enough proficiency, he must then learn to understand the basic structure of the element itself.
At this phase his bloodline will evolve into an all earthly elemental bloodline.
With this all earthly elemental bloodline, he can manipulate and generate five extra elements, not including the first four.
Space
Time
Light
Darkness
Lightening
These five elements can be manipulated and not generated.
At this point the vampire progenitor will have to do the same thing again, unfortunately the book ended early and the bloodline was not fully explored, it's a mystery if the bloodline can evolve again.
The bloodline however, is not the thing that truly defines the ancient vampire race.
The thing that defines them are their innate abilities.
As ancient vampires, they possess all known vampire abilities such as.
Shapeshifting. The innate ability to transform into anything you see as long as you understand its internal and external structure.
Regeneration. The innate ability to heal cuts and even very very slowly regenerate a lost limb.
Telepathy. The innate ability to speak into the mind of another being as long as they are weaker than the vampire.
Flight. The innate ability to fly using bat wings and shapeshifting. The wings appear via shapeshifting
Immortality. The innate ability can let a vampire live forever, as long as they are not killed.
Charm. This innate ability increases the beauty of the vampire, and can be used to charm a weaker being, when using charm in that manner, the eyes will glow red.
True face The innate ability shows the true face of the vampire, blood red glowing eyes, the true face is seen every time a vampire drinks blood.
True form This innate ability is a reflection of the soul of the vampire.
Atmokinesis This innate ability can allow the vampire to summon the winds and rain.
Pyrokinesis This innate ability can generate fire. The ability is limited to a small orange ball of flame no larger than the size of a fist.
Electrokinesis This innate ability can generate lightning, but the ability is limited to throwing a bolt of lightning at someone's face.
Dream Manipulation. This innate ability can allow a vampire to enter the dream of weaker beings.
Animal Control. This innate ability can control animals with weaker wills
Blood Rising. The innate ability to Bring back the vampire from the dead, using blood of any kind.
These 14 innate abilities once mastered to the absolute pinnacle of the ancient vampire race. The ancient vampire will unlock intent for that ability, example.
Regeneration, once learned to the peak you gain the intent of instant regeneration. So unless the body is vaporised in one blow, they cannot be killed.
The weakness of the ancient vampire progenitor are the bite from a progenitor werewolf and a body that's innately weak to magic.
All other forms of weaknesses are non-existent within the ancient vampire progenitor.
Kaile always wondered what it would be like to live as an ancient vampire, even though the book followed the path of the progenitor, the progenitor was not the first vampire progenitor, before him was a women, this women using her vampire progenitor powers, created clans based on the elements she can control.
All these clans were called the ancient vampire clans, in which they all were united due to the effect of bloodline, it is not like they didn't have internal conflict as something like that is impossible to not happen, but it never really led to the death of any being.
Not to mention just having the bloodline itself, gives one a sense of closeness with the other being, this is what attracted Kaile the most.
