Chapter 7 Weird day at school II
The whole class continued to operate like nothing happened, there were about 30 people in this classroom, nobody stopped what they were doing or even looked at the commotion at the front of the classroom.
After all, it's a common occurrence by now.
The person who threw the ball is the same person that was beaten up by Kaile 1 year ago.
His name is Charles. Charles understands Kaile's bottom line is his sister and mom, so instead he decided to target Kaile himself.
Ever since that fateful day when he learnt the cold truth of the world he has been un-resigned.
How could he just accept it?
Isn't he a young master of an entire country?
A country that makes other countries cower in fear at the simple mention of their name.
How come he, that has never heard the word no.
Suddenly accept the word no in this situation.
How can he not take his revenge against a little guy that just has a well off family background.
Unfortunately his father seemed adamant on this one, he was unable to pull off the typical stunts like, calling for assassins and such as his father is truly powerful.
If a person that controls a world leading force tells you no, how could you possibly do something in their backyard without permission.
All his attempts at getting revenge have long since been foiled, the worst thing is his cheap father never said another word to him about that matter since that fateful day, he just acts as if it never happened.
So now he's stuck resorting to throwing non lethal rubber balls, that even have a colourful appearance, so it can be spotted easily and dodged in the classroom at Kaile as he enters every morning.
At this point it's become like a tradition, if a ball doesn't come flying a day, Kaile will feel a bit uneasy for that whole day, only waiting for it to strike him.
Luckily that's never happened to him in public, and although he is complete garbage at martial arts, he can easily beat down anyone in his classroom.
How could he not when everyone here are just pampered geniuses, that have probably never smelled blood in their entire lives, let alone seen it in person.
Kaile just sat peacefully in the classroom, waiting for his mom to come in and start teaching him, not once did he look back at the man that threw the ball at him even though he can feel daggers behind his back.
Little did Kaile know, or anyone else in the class for that matter, as Sophia's face was placid after she stopped the smirk from earlier, if anything everyone that watched her today, thought she was gloating at her brother instead.
But under the table her soft light caramel hands were clenched so tight they were shaking.
In her heart nobody can tease or mess with her brother except for her.
Did you think Kaile was the only one that grew yandere like tendencies towards his sister, that only manifested in the form of overprotection right now.
Nobody that likes to tease one specific person like a religion will enjoy it when someone else does it to that same person too.
Over the years it's become a little bit overboard, and her feelings have changed subtly, becoming more extreme, but she doesn't yet realise it.
At first she used to tease Kaile as one of the many methods in order to get closer to him as a sister, but now she does it because of genuine enjoyment, it's become someone more, something it shouldn't have.
At this time Emma walked into the classroom and frowned, looking at her two children it's all too easy for her to see their true emotions hidden behind those eyes.
If anything, Emma is proud of her ability to see the true face of people, it's almost like her own personal superpower that only she can use.
So when she walked into the classroom and saw Sophia's emotionless look, and Kaile's dazed but vigilant eyes, it didn't take a genius to understand, especially when the culprit is ignoring her entire existence and still staring at Kaile like he just killed his entire family.
Honestly Emma was also a bit puzzled as to why nothing has happened to them yet, she was even willing to make some phone calls to beg for mercy but, the fact that nothing has happened to them yet leaves her with a suspicion but she doesn't dare to entertain it.
It's simply too otherworldly of a thought.
Emma is a very smart person, she is able to see the true faces of people easily and even guess their next actions, so what Emma did not know was that her wild thoughts were actually indeed correct.
Something that a troubled man is desperately trying to intervene, but it's only a matter of time before everything makes sense.
''Alright, focus up. The lesson has now begun.'' Emma's voice sounded in the classroom full of students, she moved to the opposite side of the classroom.
In front of her was a plain white wall, with the swipe of her light caramel hand a hologram shone, lighting up the wall with images and texts about history.
''Alright can anybody tell me what the land was like before it was named the Humans continent 2030 years ago?''
Looking at the classroom, most of the students listened patiently looking at the front of the class.
Other students at the far back still don't seem to realise a teacher has entered the room.
One person in the middle of the class, a skinny boy with glasses stood up, and after standing up he put his middle finger in between his glasses frame and pushed them up. With a proud expression he said.
'' 8 thousand years ago, the continent was filled with walking calamity class monsters, these monster were gigantic in size and roam the land we now live in, but inexplicable their food source began to die out, humans didn't dare to come out of their caves, too afraid they will be stomped to death by a passing beast, or swallowed by a flying bird type monster.'' The boy stopped, looking around the room for a moment to see if he had everyone's attention before he continued.
''Thousands of years passed by, humans noticed that less and less calamity beasts roamed the lands, and even all the smaller breasts began to disappear as well, it's publicly known that these beasts died out due to starvation. Why their food disappeared is unknown, just that it happened.'' He paused for a moment to build up suspense.
''But in reality, the top world leaders know the truth. It's true that their food source died out inexplicably, but it's not true they all died out even though most of them did, they are in fact just sleeping deep underground, waiting for the day to surface again.'' And with that he sat down.
''Thank you I'll take it from here.'' Emma said, pointing towards the hologram, images of primitive humans living in caves could be seen, rather than humans they look like livestock instead.
Livestock that was just freely released into the land, as images passed by, it painted an image of how humans developed crude weapons, and how humans began fighting against the weaker creatures of the land, until thousands of years passed by and humans conquered the land.
''That was two thousand and thirty years ago, humans defeated the last dangerous beast race and named the wild lands the human continent. ''
Time flew by and the lesson ended.
Kaile and Sophia left together, Sophia refused the invitation of her friends to join them for lunch, as a very beautiful woman Sophia is among the top 10 school flowers. Kaile on the other hand doesn't really have anyone he could call a friend in the class as everyone is scared to associate with him after he beat up Charles that fateful day.
Not that he minds the fact that everyone stopped talking to him, as long as he has his family, nothing else in the world matters much.
Both siblings left the building, in front of them was their personal floaters that arrived automatically once the lesson finished, it's impossible to tamper with them so after a lesson they will come in front of the classrooms of the students and teachers alike, ready to transport them to a designated area.
When Kaile and Sophia stepped onto their respective floaters, a holographic question appeared in front of them.
''Resting area or dinner hall?''
Both selected dinner hall, soon after the floater shot off heading for the selected area.
