Chapter 219 - Chapter 59 part 2

About when she was expecting the little breakfast she'd had to make a reappearance, the creature was setting her on her feet. Which promptly dropped her on the ground because they weren't in any shape to hold her like that.

She wasn't sure how far they'd travelled, but it had taken a while. She could see the sun overhead indicating that it was almost noon. Which told her just how long they'd been travelling. Though, she couldn't help but wonder how far it would have taken her people to have travelled that distance. Especially since she had a feeling that the creature had been able to bypass obstacles that would have given any human a bit of trouble to get past.

"What happen? You alright?" the black haired head asked, looking confused.

"I'll be alright," Jenn replied, smiling weakly. "I just didn't expect that kind of ride, is all."

"Ride?" the red haired head asked, sounding just as confused.

"Don't worry about it," Jenn answered, happy that her stomach was already settling down. Though, she staying sitting in the snow, waiting to make sure that her stomach wasn't going to change its mind and evict its contents without warning.

"Whatever you doing, hurry up," the black haired head snapped. "Chief no like be kept waiting."

Jenn nodded, wondering if she'd push her luck too far if she waited until she was certain that her stomach wasn't going to rebel.

Standing up, she half expected to fall back down as her legs felt like they might not be very cooperative right then, but she was able to at least remain steady as she climbed back to her feet.

When she was confident that she wasn't going to fall down, she looked around herself. She wasn't sure what to expect, though she had thought that these creatures were smart enough to build their own shelters. Which she supposed might still be true in a sense as she saw what was around her. Several caves that almost felt like it was a community of caves. Which she couldn't help but wonder if they connected to each other underground, in the event the surface entrance got blocked for any particular reason.

"Where is your chief?" Jenn asked, not sure which cave she should head towards.

Her hunch was the large one to her right, though she also suspected that could lead to somewhere else. Somewhere she wasn't sure she should go. Or at least just yet.

–This way.–

The words felt like a whisper in her ear, though she could tell that it was communicated through magic. Which surprised her, but with a quick glance to her 'escort' here, she could tell he hadn't heard it.

The direction those words felt like they were urging her to go was towards a smaller cave a little past where the large one was. A cave that she might have overlooked with all the other ones around. Which also somehow felt more welcoming.

A sensation she would have said would have been as foreign to this location as a beach would have been. Though, she couldn't say that she wouldn't have minded seeing a beach at this moment. Or at least a warm, tropical beach.

Much like the one that the first gate she and her friends had encountered on this world, aside from the one they'd used to enter this world, that is.

As Jenn walked, she felt a little surprised when the one who had 'escorted' her here didn't react to her wandering off. She wasn't sure what to make of it other than he might have expected this to happen. Which she couldn't say if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

–Who are you?– Jenn asked, using her own magic.

–You can respond to me? Interesting. In all my years, no one has been able to do this. I was almost afraid that when I died that my people would be without a leader. A chief they deserve.–

Jenn suddenly wondered if that's how these people selected a chief. Which made it a good thing that she had come herself. As she knew her stand-ins weren't able to communicate like this just yet.

She kept her eyes peeled as she took each step slowly. In a way, she felt like she wasn't wearing anything while she spoke with the chief of these creatures, even though she knew she'd be freezing if she had been.

–Okay, but who are you? I've only just encountered your people, but you don't sound like they do.–

–Yes, that's a problem with the ability our people has. We sound a lot dumber than we actually are. Which has caused many problems in the past when we used to encounter other peoples. Besides, when we talk like this, you can only hear what your own mind interprets my own thoughts. So, when you find a brilliant idiot who can talk to you like this, then their thoughts will be much more organized and elaborate than a regular idiot's would be.–

Jenn wasn't sure she really cared for that analogy, but couldn't think of anything to argue it with. Aside from the fact that she hadn't a clue as to what this other individual looked like. All she could tell was a vaguely masculine voice. Although, she supposed it could be a feminine voice, but that could also be because she'd been around the people she was 'chief' of for so long that it was messing up with her perceptions.

–How do you determine who would be the next chief if they can't learn to talk like this?– Jenn asked, ducking under a stalagmite that nearly blocked the path for her. Which made her wonder if any of the other creatures would be able to have taken this path themselves, or if there was another one that was more suited for them, that they could take easily.

–What do you mean? How can anyone 'learn' to talk like this? Weren't you born talking like this?–

–Actually, no, I wasn't. I really only learned how to do this…– Jenn stopped as she suddenly realized just how long it'd been since she had left Earth. The trip to this world had merely taken a few months, but even though she wasn't sure how long she'd been with the Lost, she doubted that it was that large of a time. Meaning, that she had been away from her family, and Alex, for almost an entire year.

Assuming her estimate was accurate, that is.

–Why'd you stop? Did you forget?–

–Uh no, that's not it.– Jen answered, taking a deep breath to steady herself. –I just realized something that I hadn't thought of for a while and it caught me off guard.–

–You'll have to tell me all about this when we get to know each other better.–

It wasn't the words that were used, but rather the sensation of what lay under those words that suddenly made Jenn want to stop to take a bath. She wasn't sure, but she had a feeling that whatever she thought might be going on here, that this creature might have other ideas of what they'd be doing together.

–Anyway, it's been over two years since I learned to use my magic to talk like this.– Jenn said, hoping to steer the conversation away from any kind of 'physical' activity the other chief might be thinking of engaging in with her.

–You'll have to explain this to me when we're together. Such as who taught you? How did they teach you?–

–I learned it from a unicorn.– Jenn answered readily. While it was the memories of a unicorn that had been stored inside a crystal, technically it still was a unicorn who had taught her.

–What's a unicorn?– the response came almost immediately. –You see, this is why we need to be together before we can really talk. I have no way of knowing of the exact details otherwise.–

Jenn didn't like the way that phrasing had sounded. However, she still pressed on. She had a feeling it wouldn't be much longer, though she was starting to wish that it would take a lot longer.

–This is what a unicorn looks like.– Jenn said, sending a mental image of Petals to the chief she was talking to.

–H-how did you manage this!? We're not even connected!–

Jenn wasn't sure if she did something that she really wasn't supposed to do or not, but she had a feeling she might be getting herself out of the trouble she might have been walking into otherwise.

–Uh, I thought of something I remembered seeing and then sent that to you in the same manner that I send you my thoughts.– she explained, hoping that this might allow the person she was talking to, to not feel the need to do… whatever it was that he or she had originally had in mind to do with Jenn.

Suddenly an image appeared in Jenn's mind. An image that both intrigued and aroused her as well as repulsed her and gave her serious reason to abandon this meeting. Especially with ow she had the feeling this would be the kind of scene she'd be walking into if she kept at her regular pace.

The image was that of the first of these two-headed creatures that she'd met, completely naked, and the only phrasing Jenn could think of to describe the actions involved in the image was how she was certain that Ralph and his brothers would describe it: Balls deep.

Whatever the chief was doing, he was 'balls deep' inside this girl. Though, Jenn still wasn't sure about how to tell ages of these creatures, especially since that creature seemed older and younger than her appearance made Jenn think of, putting aside the way she spoke.

She also wanted to complain about the chief sending the image, which made her know that the other chief was male, at the very least. However, she also got the direct impression that that's how they shared things. That it wasn't anything private among these creatures, but rather, how they shared things with their chief. Though, she wasn't sure if it was just with their chief or if it was with everyone of their kind that they did this sort of thing with. There just wasn't enough for her to really say one way or another.

–So, did you receive that?– the other chief asked, sounding a lot more tired than he had been a moment before and Jenn hoped the reason was because it just took a lot out of him. Not because he… 'finished' with the girl.

Or at least that's how Jenn got the impression that the chief thought of the female creature as she thought about it. Or at least she hoped that's why she'd been thinking of that individual as just a 'girl.'

–Yeah, I got it.– Jenn answered, hoping that the sounds she was starting to hear wasn't them continuing to go at it. Though, she didn't plan on putting much hope in that sentiment.

As Jenn turned a corner, she suddenly found herself in a spacious cavern. She wasn't sure what was used to light it up, but it clearly was as bright as a floodlight and didn't have the same quality of flickering light as any flame-based sources of light would have.

The light spread out across the cavern, illuminating pretty much everything. Leaving pretty much everything in the cavern bathed in light.

As she looked around, she couldn't even see her shadow, even though the tunnel she'd come from wasn't as lit up as this cavern and there wasn't any reason for any shadow she cast towards that entrance to be blocked out by light. At least not like this.

Turning her attention back to the center of the cavern, where she had a feeling the chief was, she started walking towards it, partially wondering why she was getting an urge to strip naked here. She couldn't feel the thoughts of the chief pushing her to do that, but at the same time, the urge was still there. The kind of urge she recalled feeling when Emily had used her magic to try and get Jenn to have sex with her when they were at the engineering camp.

While she knew she hadn't wanted to do that with Emily, she couldn't explain why she was starting to feel like she'd lost a chance or something there. Like she regretted not having had Emily finish what she'd started.

Jenn stopped, looking around her again. This time, she was using her magic in every possible way she could think of. She wasn't sure if this was intentional of these creatures, but she had a feeling there was something magical here that was getting her all hot and bothered.

If she could figure out what it was, then she hoped she'd be able to get rid of this sensation going all over her body. Though, part of her wondered if she should bring Alex here. At some point, at least. As she couldn't help but wonder if she might feel a little differently about it if it was Alex who she'd be with then.

Shaking her head to clear all thoughts of that kind out of her head, she had a feeling she found what might be the source. Though, that didn't mean she could think of how to shield herself from the effects it was giving off. Much the same as how she couldn't actually block the sun just by putting her hand between it and her eyes.

Eventually, Jenn reached a kind of tent in the center of the cavern. It was little more than a piece of fabric thrown over two ropes that kept it upright, though it left two ends completely open to anyone present.

Which gave her a completely unobstructed view of the female creature having the chief pull himself out of her. While she just lay on the ground gasping for breath.

–How did you enter that cul-de-sac without her seeing you?– the chief asked conversationally as he wiped his member off with the girl's body. –It's true that you had to have entered when she wasn't looking, but she'd been there for several days. Plus, she'd looked at that cul-de-sac before taking up position above it. Which means is it really a dead end or is there another way out that we're not aware of?–

–If we talk out loud, will you still sound like how you do here, or will you sound like the others do?– Jenn asked, forcing herself to keep from looking at the girl's body. No matter how attractive Jenn found it, she doubted that it would be helpful to her to allow her desires to take over and let her just 'look.'

–I would sound like the others do when they talk. Though, now that I know everything about what she knows, it's time for us to share what we know with each other.–

–Uh, if you mean through the same method that you did with her, then, uh, I'm gonna have to take a hard pass on that. I'm just not that interested in doing it with just anyone.– Jenn replied, then looked at where the crystal was that clearly had her more interested in sex than she would have been otherwise. –No matter what that tries to do to me.–

–But how are we supposed to share what we know with each other?– the chief asked turning to face Jenn, giving her the first view of him. One of his heads had electric blue hair and golden eyes while the other head had green hair and green eyes and seemed rather emaciated. Almost like it didn't get enough exercise. Though, both looked like they were maturing to the point where they might start to pick up wrinkles before long.

–We could talk.– Jenn answered, unable to wonder why one of the heads on the chief of these people looked so weak while all the others had two healthy heads on their bodies. –Or if nothing else, I could use my magic to link our minds.–

–This way would be more fun.– the chief remarked, almost in a kind of teasing tone.

While Jenn didn't doubt that his method would be more 'fun,' she also couldn't reconcile herself doing it with him while she was still with Alex. Even if it was the fastest method available. Which she wasn't completely convinced about.

–Maybe, but as I said already, I'll have to take a hard pass on the offer.–

The healthy head on the chief sighed before reaching over behind a rock that Jenn hadn't noticed was there, with how well it blended into the background and looked like it was a completely empty chamber, aside from the three of them. Then he put it on and Jenn realized that it was a loincloth. Though, the girl he'd been 'sharing' with still lay on the floor, not bothering to cover up any of her nudity, even as she watched with interest what was going on between her chief and Jenn. Despite the fact neither of them were talking out loud.

–You're not refusing to share with me because of some belief or other, are you?– he asked, his tone making Jenn feel like this was the most dangerous question he'd asked of her so far. Though, she hardly felt worried about it anyway.

–Not really. Though, I do prefer girls over guys, so that's part of it, I guess.– Jenn answered, wishing they could change this subject already. Even though she felt a little surprised at how calm she was and that she really didn't feel as embarrassed talking about that than she would have expected.

–Although, I do have a girlfriend and doing that with someone else would be betraying her.–

–So, there is a belief that makes you refuse.– the chief declared. –Just like the legends of old.–
