Chereads / Bad Girl Reborn / Chapter 57 - Chapter 57: Drunk

Chapter 57 - Chapter 57: Drunk

Just as he thought that, Diana's hands rested on the piano keys but didn't start playing right away. As John was wondering why she hesitated, she suddenly lowered her head, and her face collided with the keys of the piano.

The piano made a harsh sound, and John was startled. He put down his glass and quickly walked over to Diana. He lifted her up and asked, "Little girl, are you okay?"

Diana squinted slightly, looking drowsy, and there was still an imprint on her face from hitting the keys.

She looked at John in front of her and suddenly pouted, whimpering, "John, he hit me..."

"Who hit you?" John's eyes instantly turned cold.

Who dared to touch her, they wouldn't live long!

"It's him!" Diana pointed to the piano in front of them, "he hit me first, my face hurts! Waaah~"

John: ...

It seemed like she was quite drunk, very drunk.

"Can you help me hit him? he bullied me!"

Diana insisted.

John was at a loss.

He could only speak to her in a gentle voice as if he was soothing a child, "Okay, I'll help you vent your anger."

John gritted his teeth and forcefully slapped the piano twice.

Luckily, no one was around to witness it, otherwise his ice-cold man and CEO image would be shattered.

"Okay, I've taught him a lesson."

"John mate, you're so nice..." Diana showed a silly smile.

Suddenly, she grabbed his hand, "Does your hand hurt?"

"No, it doesn't."

John looked at her silly expression, and a hint of a smile appeared on his lips.

The little girl who was drunk was unexpectedly cute.

"Shall we go?" John's voice became softer.

Diana nodded seriously, "Okay." She tilted her head and said, "But there are two Johns in front of me, which John should I follow?"

Was she hallucinating because of the alcohol?

John sighed, then bent down and held her slender body tightly in a princess carry.

He thought she would resist a little.

But the little girl pouted and then stretched out her hand, hugging his neck.

She leaned against his chest, biting her lip, seemingly lost in thought.

"Your heartbeat is a bit fast."

After speaking, she lifted her eyes slightly and looked at him mischievously.

Due to the alcohol, her body temperature was slightly high, and her little face was flushed. In her dark grape-like eyes, a layer of mist could be seen.

She looked particularly attractive.

John's Adam's apple moved, and his eyes dimmed.

Unexpectedly, Diana's hand on his chest was not behaving, and through his suit, she kept poking him gently.

John: ...

He began to doubt whether this little girl was pretending to be drunk on purpose!

John suppressed his uneasiness and carefully held the little girl in his arms as he walked out. Ethan was waiting outside, originally thinking that with Diana's gluttonous tendencies, the meal would last for hours. He didn't expect them to come out so soon. But why was she being carried out?! What happened to Diana? Ethan curiously stared at the woman in his boss's arms, noticing her unusually red cheeks. She seemed...drunk?

But just as he watched, Ethan suddenly felt an extremely cold gaze shoot towards him. He immediately withdrew his gaze, feeling a chill down his neck.

"Boss, I didn't see anything!" Ethan turned around, his survival instincts kicking in. He never wanted to go to Africa again!

John ignored him, turning to carefully place Diana on the backseat of the car before getting in himself. Ethan nervously took the driver's seat and asked, "Boss, where to now? Thompson's house or your villa?"

"Thompson's house," John replied before pressing a button beside him. A partition slowly descended within the car, separating the backseat from the front.

Ethan was confused. What was his boss doing? Was he...? Ethan quickly shook his head, trying to rid himself of his dirty thoughts.

No way! His boss was a gentleman. He couldn't be doing anything perverted. It was all his cranky!

In the backseat, there was John, a gentleman, holding onto Diana's restless little hand, lowering his voice and saying, "Little girl, do you know what you're doing?"

She had been poking his chest outside his suit, but now she had even put her hand inside his shirt!

Diana blinked her eyes, the stars in them shining brightly.

Then she pouted, "You're mean to me..."

John paused, feeling that something was not right.

"You've had too much to drink, haven't you? Are you trying to hit on everyone you see?"

Diana leaned against the backseat, looking confused for a moment before shaking her head. "No..."

She turned her head and pointed to John's chest. "Your heart is beating so fast, I just wanted to see..."

At this, John felt a vein throb on his forehead.

So, she wasn't trying to be inappropriate?

As soon as this thought crossed his mind, he saw Diana staring at him intently, suddenly grinning foolishly.

"You're so handsome... Why are you so handsome?"

"I like handsome people, so... Will you come home with me?"

As she spoke, she reached out and slapped John's face lightly.

Then her fingers slid down to his Adam's apple and caressed it gently.

John felt a lump in his throat, and the desire he had been suppressing all this time suddenly loosened.

His eyes narrowed slightly as he gazed at the woman in his arms.

"Little girl, you brought this on yourself..."

He reached out and lightly pinched her chin, his eyes fixed on her.

Diana seemed startled, her wet eyes staring at him, her lips slightly parted in bewilderment.

John's gaze darkened, and he pressed his lips against hers.

As soon as he touched her soft lips, the last strand of reason in his mind snapped.

John looked at Diana with confusion written on his face. She shrugged her nose and looked back at him with her big eyes, but he couldn't quite figure out what was going through her mind.

Just as John was about to ask her what was wrong, Diana suddenly hesitated and stuttered, "I'm sorry..."

John was puzzled. What was going on?

"I'll be good from now on, I'll stay with you properly... I don't hate you anymore... it's all my fault, wahhh..."

She babbled on and on, even bursting into tears towards the end.

John was both heartbroken and amused at the same time. He picked her up and sat her on his lap, holding her tightly and wiping her tears away gently.

"It's alright, I don't blame you. Don't cry, I'll take care of you."

Upon hearing his words, Diana immediately stopped crying and asked, "You really don't blame me?"

"Um, no, I don't blame you. I will never blame you," John replied softly.

How could he bear to blame her? He loved her with all his heart and soul, he would give his life for her.

Upon hearing this, Diana broke into tears of laughter.

Suddenly, she said, "Alright, let me sing you a song!"

John replied, "No, no need..."

He vaguely felt that Diana's current state would not allow her to sing any normal songs.

As expected, she fell into his arms and suddenly burst into a howl, "The loneliness of one person, the fault of two people... Fighting alone for love, abandoning worldly constraints... Lalalalala~"

John squinted his eyes, his facial expression instantly freezing.

Well... it sounds terrible.

Diana grabbed his neck and asked, "Is it good?"

"It's good..."

"Then sing with me!"

John said, "I can't."

Diana instantly became unhappy and asked, "Are you despising me?!"

Looking at her pouting expression, John sincerely doubted whether she was pretending to be drunk.

"I really can't."

He just couldn't do it.

Fortunately, Diana didn't force him, but instead looked at him with disdain and muttered, "You can't even do this, watch me!"

As she spoke, she burst into another howl and began to sing terribly.

Meanwhile, Ethan, who was sitting in the driver's seat, couldn't help but burst a vein on his forehead.

It was too terrible!

He had never heard such a terrible song in his life!

In an instant, he felt extremely sorry for his boss and quickly increased the speed of the car.

They needed to get this disaster back home as soon as possible.

This kiss was different from the last one.

He plunged into her sweet mouth greedily, his fingers tightly gripping the back of her head, pressing her down onto the backseat, rolling and turning.

Just as he was about to take it further, he suddenly tasted something salty in his mouth.

He was startled, and his reason returned in an instant.

As he stood up, he saw that Diana was crying.

"Little girl..."

John's heart sank, feeling a little helpless. "What's wrong?"

Did he scare her with his impulsiveness?

At the thought, disappointment crept onto John's face.

He let go of the little girl beneath him and moved away from her.

But as he stood up, he suddenly felt Diana grab onto his sleeve.
