I stared back at his eyes that showed fear and resignation. I asked him again, "Have you finally realized what you've gotten yourself into? I don't know if you are brave or you are stupid."
I shook my head and approached him. I used my left hand to raise his chin so I can look into his eyes closely. I then said, "Your eyes are beautiful. Do you think our future child will inherit them?" I then smirked.
I saw his eyes widen and he started breathing erratically again but this time his body started shaking and his skin heated up gradually. I then said, "So what the books said were true. Saying a word to a resonant about having a child will get a strong reaction."
