Looking at the uniforms, Jean immediately identified the two was students from the Grand Phoenix academy.
"What were you two doing all the way here?" He asked.
Ren didn't stretch things out and answered simply, "fighting."
Jean looked all around and saw all the Dhairgi corpses, there was no reason to doubt the words the student before him spoke.
Turning back to look at Ren however, jean noticed something familiar about him. It was Ren's affinity with the sword he had noticed. Being a fellow swordsman, he was happy meeting another with such talent.
Apart from that, there was something else that caused him to furrow his brows a little without even realizing, and it was the fact that Ren's badge indicated that was a sergeant.
