There's no way to predict war, especially one fought while shrouded in never settling dust with no way to recognize your fellow man of the same side. The good thing was that Dhairgi were just too distinct from humans, so identification was not a problem. However, the battlefield had quickly extended to cover grounds even out the outpost ground. Unlike the human side that most preferred to use their own melee weapons and bows, with the exception of a few out of the many who relied on guns, the Dhairgi were armed with powerful guns and such weaponry, and on the side, only a few out of the many used melee weapons.
