Going through the portal gave a weird feeling all over the body, though it was said that one would get used to it over time, as with anything. Ren came through and found himself standing in the middle of the forest, the surroundings very different from the forest outside.
The way it worked was that the portal would disappear once you went in. During the period of time the dungeon is being raided, no one can enter and one can only leave if they have a return stone that hardly drops. Once it drops though, it can be used in any other dungeon, so it usually sold for a high price in the market.

[Goblin settlement]
-Clear condition-
Kill all goblins.
…
'Of course, I thought it was just the novel, but looks like even in real life, the rewards are not stated also…'
There was no particular direction for Ren to move in, so he just continued walking forwards from where he had stopped. This sense of being lost quickly gave Ren the idea of creating some kind of map formation skill or sensory skill that could enable him sense life or energies around him.
'I'll have to spend a lot of time in the library if I'm ever going to learn everything I need.' He could already see himself walking the path to become the greatest scholar with all the things he would have to learn and knowledge he would have to gather.
After walking for about seven minutes, Ren felt he had heard something, but even after observing his surroundings more keenly, he couldn't find anything. 'Goblins are said to be sneaky creatures, so I'm sure they are the cause of all the disturbance in the surroundings.' Ren was sure of it and already had a plan in mind. Goblins couldn't communicate with humans after all, same with many other races, so he needed to use some kind of tactic to get them to take him to their settlement.
'Is that a trap they've set?' Ren spotted the rope on the ground, and for his own plan to work, he willingly stepped on the rope.
From the side, a log of thick wood came slamming into his side and sending him flying into a nearby tree.
"UUUOOOOO!" He screamed in pain from the impact. If it were a human, they would have recognized the terrible acting from a distance, but since it was low level goblins he was against, Ren hoped it would work.
After an entire minute of making sure not to move much and mimic a person in pain, Ren caught sight of a group of goblins, five in number. They all came out from the bushes, walking up to him with the expectation that he was near his death bed.
When one goblin came forward to deliver the finishing blow, Ren, caught it by the arm as it was about to stab his throat, and using his leg, he kicked it backwards into the others. The goblins quickly regrouped and reorganized themselves before attacking Ren who had just gotten up from the ground.
'I still want to test my fighting capabilities, but not against weaklings like you.'
Aiming at the first goblin before him, Ren delivered a strong enough side kick to send it towards the left a couple metres, and as for the rest, he didn't even look when he swiped his finger in the air before them, severing their bodies from the chest in half. The cut reached behind them which left a mark on the ground.

The goblin that had been kicked to the side, seeing its fellow goblins dying like that, it made a run for it instantly. Of course, this was Ren's plan, so he gave chase immediately.
Goblins were such creatures that would run away when outnumbered or in danger, so they could meet up with other goblins to gang up on their attacker.
This particular goblin wasn't faster than Ren, so he could keep up easily. After just two minutes, they reached the end of the tree-line where Ren could see several tents spread out across a decently sized clearing, and he could even see some goblins walking around.
'Just like the novel described it.'
He didn't wait for the goblin he was chasing to go bring his fellows to kill him, no, there was no need for that, "I'll just take the fight to them, starting with the weaker ones."
Activating 'lightning impulse', Ren didn't waste any time chopping down every green little creature he saw before his sight.
'I need to eliminate them fast before they start running away.' If that happened, he would have to chase them down, if not the dungeon would not be cleared and he wouldn't be able to leave.
With lightning impulse and slash that had a 1o metre range, Ren's job was incredibly easy, all he had to do was aim below the belt and it caught every goblin.

Once he reached the centre of the settlement where the chief's house was located, he didn't bother going inside first, since when the main character had done that in the original story, he received a curse that reduced all his stats for 20 seconds and was blinded by another curse, all were preset within a certain range. Instead, since he was sure the chief would be inside, he just used his skill to cut everything down in one go.
'Slash'
The entire tent collapsed on itself shortly after.
'Why did it do that?' Ren could almost slap himself on the forehead. Now he had tp go check if the shaman was dead or not since the entire tent had-
Well, he didn't need to, since someone burst out of the rubbles, it was the shaman. Well, he wasn't looking good at all, with a massive cut in his mid section, Ren even noticed something that seemed like an intestine sticking out.
'He should have used a defensive skill… guess my skill is just that strong.' While admiring his skill, he made an even stronger mental note not to use it against his fellow students later on.
With a second vertical slash, he split the goblin chief in half.
