"Alexander's gaze lingered on Dunice as she entered the car, struck by her beauty and the subtle change in her demeanor. Despite his overwhelming desire to pull her to himself and kiss her crazy, he knew he had to maintain composure.
Dunice fidgeted nervously. "Where are we going?" she asked.
"Somewhere," he replied simply.
"Don't talk unless it's necessary when we get there," he said and Dunice nodded.
The drive was silent and awkward. Dunice kept sneaking looks at Alex, who always met her gaze. She blushed with embarrassment every time he caught her.
"Remember, we have to act like a real couple in there, okay?" Alex finally said, turning to face her.
"How?" Dunice blinked, her confusion evident.
"What do you mean? How can you be so clueless? How do couples in love act?" Alex asked, frustration creeping into his tone.
