"[You should have taken Clara's offer,]" Lilith chimed in, her voice echoing in his head.
"Don't think so," Ethan replied tersely, pacing the room in an attempt to distract himself.
"[Well, whatever you do, don't pleasure yourself or you drain your life force,]" Lilith warned, her tone turning serious.
Ethan stopped pacing, the severity of her words hitting him. He had almost forgotten about the consequences of succumbing to the succubus's influence. "Right," he muttered, his mind racing for a solution.

Back at the station, Clara alongside Ava had just finished reporting back to Kirk on the mission they embarked on. As soon as they finished, he nodded, his voice firm yet understanding, "Good work, but you all look beat. Get some rest and we'll resume tomorrow."
