Chapter 325 - CHAPTER 325 - The Warlord Makes His Entrance!

In the workshop, the two new sets of armor hanging on the mechanical rack instantly captured the attention of Caitlyn and Kai'Sa.

Since Li Lin wanted them to have a more direct experience, he hadn't yet folded away the "Angel" armor's shoulder pouches or the "Pulsefire" armor's energy sniper rifle.

Caitlyn's gaze was drawn to the blue-and-white armored suit, beside which hung a massive energy sniper rifle, nearly half her size. It was clear that these items belonged together.

Kai'Sa, meanwhile, was captivated by the other suit, which resembled the "Second Skin" she had just removed. Her purple, shimmering eyes sparkled with excitement, and her face betrayed her eagerness.

"This… is this the custom armor made just for me? So quick!"

Caitlyn blinked in surprise and looked back at Li Lin, who was following them. Her voice held a mix of excitement and curiosity as she asked, "What is this?"

"I told you, it's the surprise for you two," Li Lin said with a faint smile, then turned his attention to the holographic projection on the workstation, which displayed a brain entirely composed of data— "AI."

[Understood, Master.]

As the words faded from the room, the two sets of armor activated their energy systems under the AI's control. The propulsion engines emitted a blaze that would not scorch nearby objects, and the armors hovered before Caitlyn and Kai'Sa.

"These are made from nanomaterials, just like my Sixth Generation Infinite Armor. Try them on."

Caitlyn nodded with a smile and, in sync with Kai'Sa, reached out to touch her own armor.

Just before their fingers made contact with the exterior, the armor's intelligent system completed a scan, transforming into a flowing mass of microscopic nanomachines. The nanomachines extended from their hands up their arms, covering their entire bodies within two or three seconds.

[Project Genesis: Pulsefire/Angel Armor system loading…]

[System loading complete!]

[Initiating iris and fingerprint scan…]

[Identity confirmed, Caitlyn Kiramman/Kai'Sa.]

[Greetings, Miss Caitlyn/Miss Kai'Sa.]

[Nano-energy core functioning normally, current power at 48.4%.]

[Backup energy levels are normal.]

[All armor functions are operating within normal parameters.]

[As this is your first time using this armor, would you like to activate the function tutorial?]

"Yes." ×2

After some time, the AI explained all the features of the two armors to Caitlyn and Kai'Sa.

Kai'Sa, in particular, felt a strange familiarity with her "Angel" armor.

Wearing it felt like she was still fighting in her most accustomed second skin, with many features remarkably similar to her previous gear.

She began by testing the shoulder pouches—energy emitting weapons—that synchronized seamlessly with her thoughts, just like her original living skin.

In the next moment, the pouches retracted rapidly under her command, disappearing into her shoulders without a trace.

Then, Kai'Sa switched the visor's display mode to combat scan mode.

Instantly, the previously light purple display darkened to a deeper shade, but items and figures within her view were highlighted with an orange glow according to her thoughts.

"Wow! This view is amazing, just like the one shown by my Void helmet!" Kai'Sa exclaimed.

Caitlyn experienced similar amazement.

After the AI's briefing, she retracted the almost weightless energy sniper rifle, merging it with the armor.

Then, with a thought, a handgun capable of firing energy projectiles materialized in her right hand.

Caitlyn quickly aimed and then shifted her stance, transforming the handgun into a fully automatic laser rifle.

The rifle then reverted to its original laser sniper configuration before morphing, according to her will, into a hover motorcycle that matched her form.

"This is incredible…" Caitlyn's astonishment was evident.

Li Lin, arms crossed against the wall, watched with a mild smile as the two tested their armor functions. "Do you like it?"

Caitlyn said nothing but simply sheathed the sniper rifle and removed the helmet. She walked straight to Li Lin and stood before him.

Then, leaning against the wall with one hand, she stood on her toes and gave Li Lin a playful "wall push."

Kai'Sa, observing from behind, felt a flush rise to her cheeks but continued to watch the scene intently, her eyes flickering with an unusual light, lost in thought.

Moments later, blushing Caitlyn stepped away from Li Lin and exclaimed, "I love it!"

...

...

Nearly two weeks had passed since Li Lin created the Project Genesis: Pulsefire and Project Genesis: Angel armors for Caitlyn and Kai'Sa.

In the first week, Jarvan IV and his subordinates had reached the Demacian border town of Wrenwall, a fortified stronghold used to resist external threats.

However, Li Lin was surprised to find that, after a period of not monitoring this Demacian prince, the AI's report showed a very familiar figure arriving at Wrenwall.

However, Li Lin was taken aback to see, through the AI's footage from the journey, a figure that looked remarkably familiar.

This individual was clearly not of ordinary stature; her eyes burned with flames, her skin was a pale purple, and she was covered in resilient scales of gold and red. Most striking were the dragon-like scales on her head and the dragon claw bracers on her arms.

The Dragon Blood Warrior—Shyvana.

Li Lin's first thought upon witnessing this scene was whether, despite changing the world line, they might still encounter each other. Yet, based on the footage captured by the Data Mind, he soon came to terms with it.

Due to Li Lin's interference, Shyvana did not encounter Jarvan IV in a critically wounded state. Instead, upon meeting, his healed subordinates immediately rushed forward to attempt to kill the "heretic," who was clearly not human, without even asking about her intentions.

Shyvana, in her humanoid form, was injured by the valiant royal guard. Forced to reveal her true form, she transformed into a half-dragon shape, desperately trying to escape from these powerful soldiers who attacked without hesitation.

Jarvan IV's guards mistook Shyvana for her mother, Yvva, believing her to be the flame dragon terrorizing the border. They sought to slay her.

Influenced by her adoptive father—the mage who stole the dragon eggs—Shyvana harbored goodwill towards humans and did not wish to harm the soldiers, merely defending herself passively. Despite this, their long-haired swords pierced her scales, and her flame-like blood dripped onto the ground.

Caught in their meticulously coordinated restraint, Shyvana found herself unable to fly or break through, as she could not use her fire breath to harm them.

Eventually, Jarvan IV recognized that Shyvana meant no harm, called off his men, and tended to her wounds. After inquiring about her background, despite his guards' objections, he took her back to Wrenwall.

In a twist of fate, the world line where Shyvana saved the Demacian prince had turned into one where she met Jarvan IV, was misunderstood, gravely wounded, and brought back to Wrenwall...

Li Lin marveled at the butterfly effect his intervention had caused.

Jarvan IV had just arrived in Wrenwall and was still settling in, so there was no immediate rush for his affairs.

In the following week, Li Lin spent almost every day in Zaun's forge, personally crafting the prerequisites for "career advancement"—a towering war machine over 60 meters high: the Warlord.

This medium-sized mech was built modularly, consisting of five main modules: the core torso, and the two arms and legs.

Thanks to material compression technology, these five modules were compressed to their limits, each about 5 cubic meters in size, and equipped with "Hextech Teleportation" devices.

When necessary, they could be transported from storage to Li Lin's side and assembled within seconds, dominating the battlefield.

By the weekend, after spending time with Caitlyn, Li Lin finally completed it on the third week's workday.

[Warlord (Artifact)]

[Function Modules]

[Fusion Reactor, High-Energy Reactor Boosters, Zero-Elemental Armor, Hextech Armor Coating, High-Density Compressed Rockets, Material Projection Cannons, Mega Cannons, Focusing Arc Lasers, Material Dissolution Cannons...]

[Overall Attributes (Mechanical): ??? Health, ??? Energy, ??? Combat Power, 80% Damage Reduction.]

Most of the Warlord's functions overlapped with Gaboga's.

However, while Gaboga's energy weapons were not upgraded to Material Dissolution Cannons, the Warlord's axial kinetic weapons only had access to the basic "Mega Cannons."

Apart from these, the Warlord was a complete long-range support mech cannon platform, with both hands equipped with cannons, thus lacking close-combat weapons like "Plasma Swords" or "Retractable Serrated Blades."

Once all the processes were completed, Li Lin snapped his fingers. The five square boxes, each placed on different mechanical assembly platforms, activated their propulsion engines and floated into the air.

Then, with a flash of blue light, Li Lin and the five boxes teleported to the deserted summit of Piltover.

In less than three seconds, the five boxes rapidly expanded, connected, and assembled into a 60-meter-high medium-sized war mech.

After testing, Li Lin compared the AI's data with his "Data Mind" display and couldn't help but smile.

"Next, I just need to manufacture a few hundred battlefield mechs with combat power over 85 to advance once more."
