Some of the half-human creatures I saw, had the same human features above their waists, just like a normal person would, but had their legs covered in fur, and hooves for feet.
Some looked just like humans, but either had colourful scales all over their bodies, horns on their head, or even sharp fangs and fingernails, that looked like daggers from afar.
There were even a few that had characteristics, only animals or aliens would have, like feathered wings on their back, long and flexible tails near their butts, mandibles on their foreheads, and even mermaids with fish tails for legs, who were moving around in what looked to be specialised wheelchair, made just for their kind.
The most crazy of them all were the existences that looked like they were pulled straight out of a magical book, like the being that was composed out of slime, who was reading a book on a bench. Or the small pixie-like creatures, that were flying around the beautiful flowers planted in the garden.
There were simply so many more strange, but intriguing beings, that I simply couldn't begin to describe all of them.
The only common thing that all of these beings had, was that majority or atleast half their features resembled that of a human's.
No matter if they had scales, feathers, hooves, fur, possessed animalistic parts or were made of slime, gas or ice, they all looked human in some sort of way.
Especially with everyone wearing the same uniform as one another, they looked like any normal human-being would, if you looked at them as a whole.
They even acted the same way normal humans would, and were chatting and having great time with their friends, like any carefree school student would.
They were completely civilized, and weren't barbaric in any way, like you would expect an animal to act.
They were basically the same as any old human but looked a little different, almost like how different races of mankind, look different from one another.
Only in my previous world, the usual things that would differ in between races were colour and facial features. But here, in this world, they took racial differences to a whole another level.
Now, even after hearing all that, can you still call me crazy for assuming that I'm in a different world?
You could say that I'm having a weird dream or that I'm in a weird hallucinatory state, where I'm imagining all this, but I would have to deny that right away.
I've lived in the real world for all my life, and I think I have enough experience to distinguish between a dream and reality.
The clear sights that I'm seeing outside the window, the distinct sounds of desks rattling, and the vague smell of delicious food, that was coming from the lunchboxes that were being opened by the kids in the class, are enough to tell me that this is real, and not my imagination.
Not to mention the fact, that I don't have the ability to dream when I sleep.
In fact, not only do I know that I'm in reality, and not some dreamland.
I also think that I know, where and how I came to this place.
I had my suspicions, when I saw the classroom around me and the shocking sight outside, which I vaguely remember from last night. And I only need one last piece, to confirm if what I'm thinking is right.
And this one last piece of the puzzle, should be inside my schoolbag, hanging on my chair.
I took the bag from the back of my chair and opened the zip, to see if what I was looking for was inside.
And sure enough, just like I had guessed, I found what I was looking for.
Inside the bag, were a couple of school textbooks and notebooks used for taking notes and studying, like any normal schoolbag would have.
But in the middle of these books, was a particular book that looked out of place.
It was a medium-sized, white hardcover book, that looked to have around 300 pages.
The reason it stood out from the rest was because of its pure white book-casing, and gold embellishments on its cover and edges, which gave it an ethereal and holy look, as if it were a book dropped down from the heavens itself.
The book looked so holy that, people wouldn't argue with me if I said that this book was sent to me by the gods, and I was holy one's messenger, on a mission to save this sacreligious world.
I took the book out of the bag to take a good look at it, and on the cover I saw the title of the book, which was written in golden words.
'How to Tame Your Demi-Girl'
For a book that looked so holy that it could be considered as a sacred relic, it had a very vulgar name, as if the brain-dead author who wrote this, wanted to rope in readers with a bait title written on it.
But this title and the book that possessed that vulgar name, were enough for me to confirm where I was and how I came here.
After confirming my theory, I streched out my back on my chair, took a deep breath, and relaxed myself.
I was kind of tense at first when I was brought to this place, without any knowledge or consent. But now that I know how all of this came to be, I can finally relax a bit and slowly think this out.
First, I need to refresh my knowledge about where this place is. And not just that, but also what exactly this world is and my purpose for coming here.
Thankfully, all of it was written in the prologue and story of this very novel, I read last night. So, I don't have to go through the hassle of learning about this world from the inhabitants of this world.
