Ethan puffed out some smoke from his mouth, the cigar burning.
He was sitting above a bear, its body was battered and completely destroyed in multiple places.
He had come here, gave it some punches and the thing was dead. His punches were like dynamites and with every other kick he gave, it gained a significant injury. His body was just as strong as the bear but far more condensed, so his fist had more substance to it.
He hadn't had to use a single ability to kill the bear.
Scarlett was in her human form. She touched the bear's body and looked at it coldly for a second. "I wonder when we became so cold to killing such lifeforms?"
Ethan shrugged. "After killing humans, it is just too easy to kill animals."
Scarlett nodded. "Is that bad?"
"No. Even if we didn't kill it, years would pass, and time would kill it—if not someone else. It is not some immortal that we killed; it is just something that would die anyway. Just absorb it."
