Chapter 31 - Fight!

"You have never fought me while I am in the Fairy Form. You can forget about kicking me—you retard. How dare you kick such a beautiful woman!" Scarlett's voice echoed around the dark cavern.

"I am a man of gender equality!" he replied.

Ethan tried to wrap his Dimensional Senses around her little body so he could teleport her into his hand, but she was too quick. He couldn't wrap her.

The tendrils of his dimensional senses that only he could feel just couldn't do it. She always escaped by some small chance.

As she flew around, Scarlett said with a laugh: "The loser would please the winner in any way the winner asks for, like a slave. If you win, you can finally accomplish all your deviant interests, you perv~"

Ethan didn't fall for the distraction easily; he was waiting.

Waiting.

Scarlett flashed in front of him, and a kick was about to hit him right in the eye.

He immediately wanted to teleport away, but his focus had been too much on wrapping his senses around him; he could only move his face sideways just in time to avoid the kick on his eyes and got a kick in the nose instead.

It was rather hard to focus on trying to wrap her in Dimensional Senses while keeping in mind about teleporting himself. Focusing on one thing was much easier.

She was small, so it wasn't an extremely powerful kick, but it still hurt. He tried to catch her, but she zipped away again.

If she had used Fire Ball instead, he would have lost already. He would have been fried.

He felt embarrassment creep up his nerves. She had surpassed himself in their battle-sense.

"I told you, Ethe. You are good, but not really my match when I want to defeat you. You can only run around, you pussy!"

Scarlett uproariously laughed, but Ethan was too proud to accept defeat against her.

He snorted.

"Don't be too cocky, I'll have you slave away in my bed. Keep your eyes open and try again!"

He had been a bit disoriented earlier, or he wouldn't have gotten that kick on the nose.

Both of them looked at each other's eyes. Scarlett now had green, piercing eyes instead of brown ones, and Ethan's gaze had grown filled with crisp confidence.

Scarlett felt a tingle on her nerves. It was that feeling of being dominated that always came with battling him. It made her all the more want to defeat him.

But she asked curiously, "After your Heritage evolved into the True Dimensional Physique, how many new abilities did you gain?"

Ethan smiled. "I gained three new abilities, and all my old ones are much stronger. I am freaky strong and believe me; I will beat you up without fear now because I have an amazing Healing Ability. Be ready to lose some skin. Did you gain anything new?"

Scarlett didn't pause in the air in one place. She blitzed around as she spoke—If he wrapped her with his Dimensional Senses, she would lose.

Whenever he wrapped his enemies for once using his Dimensional Senses, they had become his plaything. He had never used that against her before in their duels because she had never been his equal in a fight like this moment. He always easily overpowered her and groped her to his whims.

He had always been far superior to her, and she was ecstatic about how they were equals now.

She knew he wouldn't hesitate to completely make her his slave for the next week if she lost. He knew it would be the same for him, too.

"I gained three abilities too, but none of them are good for battle…" Scarlett sighed.

Ethan spun around as she circled him quickly. She was a beautiful butterfly, a beautiful but deadly butterfly. If he used his Analytical Eye Method, he could see her abilities and what they were for, but that felt like cheating against his little Scarr.

Suddenly, Scarlett blitzed toward him, and a fiery wave of fire was in front of him.

Ability—Fire Ball.

Ethan vanished and appeared on the other side of the wall. He laughed as his face was illuminated in yellow brilliance. His blue eyes became a calm well.

In the middle of the fire, he noticed Scarlett, her little frame surrounded by fire, crimson locks of hair falling behind her majestically, and her emerald eyes glistening with fire.

Scarlett zoomed in on his sight; she had predicted where he would appear.

"You like to appear behind my back too much." Her voice was commanding and superior, her eyes utterly disdainful. "Now, become my slave!"

He wanted to teleport, but then, his concentration completely broke as a seductive voice appeared in his head: "Ethe, don't teleport!"

Ability—Voice Transmission.

Ethan could see her body expanding and a much more powerful fist heading for his face. She became a little giant in merely an instant, and he had no way to teleport as it had been interrupted.

Ability—Body Size Manipulation.

Scarlett didn't make her punch the least bit weaker as it slammed into him, but then, her face changed as her hand went through his body as if he was just a form made of light. Her mind spun in fear and lack of understanding as her hand was impaled in his head.

Ethan, though, only slumped and fell towards the ground before becoming material again.

He had become normal, and his body was no longer phantom-like. She quickly held his white t-shirt and pulled him towards her before he fell entirely.

Ethan had fainted. And he was unconscious. Even his well-toned body seemed to have become muscle and bones; he seemed like he had starved for weeks.

Scarlett looked at him with a tight face, cradling him in her embrace.

"What was that power?" she wondered out loud with an aghast face.

He was too prideful. One punch, it was just one punch from her.

She took him on her shoulder and walked to the side of the dark cavern. "In the end, you lost anyway, dumbass. Why are you always so extreme…?"

She grimaced as she saw how tired, pale, and skinny his face had become. Even his muscles seemed to have been pulled inward. Was she to feel pity now?

She only felt irritated and a bit afraid.

Their fight hadn't even begun really. They were still just warming up, if his ability didn't over drive him, he could still just shrug of her kick after being blasted away and come in an attack.

'Well, it's a win for me,' she thought, 'Who am I to complain when I get it for free?'
