Ethan was sitting on the bed, a teary-eyed Scarlett clinging to him from the side, laying on his chest—her naked breasts pushing against him.
She had really done it; her back hurt like hell, and she couldn't even move well.
Thankfully for her, the man, the reason for her pain, was obviously the best. Even as she sobbed on his shoulders, he was putting ice on her butt. Even though she had bled during their first anal, it was just minor bleeding, and it should heal—that doesn't mean it didn't hurt.
Yet, Ice cubes put there gently by the hands of her beloved was the most awkward and the most satisfying thing that had happened to her in recent times.
They were clean after the bath, and both of them smelled nice. She lay against his chest, her tears pooling up in her eyes, him comforting her while being angry at the same time.
The strength of his chest, the gentleness by which he applied the ice on one of her most private parts, the coolness of the ice on that area, and how his hands always had that little jump when she frowned in pain.
"Does it still hurt?" Ethan asked.
Scarlett wrapped her hand around his chest. "It does hurt; bring more ice out and continue what you are doing…" she asked with a cute face, spreading her legs a bit to allow for better access.
Ethan looked at her with a sigh. It was hard to hide his lust. "I might end up doing it in the front too, today itself, and I wanted it to be romantic."
"Sissy. Just do it," she mumbled.
Ethan smiled but pushed an ice cube into her ass, and she gasped.
"You gained some masochistic tendencies when away from me, huh? Why would you force it into you when it really did hurt otherwise?"
She said, still hissing. "Fuck you, I just wanted it to be memorable. We both won't forget it anymore, right?"
"…True."
Ethan nodded and dug out the ice. She heaved in relief while Ethan gained a new boner.
It was hard not to be aroused when dealing with such a situation. Even though he had already done it once, he could still do it again. But Scarlett was frightened when she saw him get hard—her ass could obviously not take it anymore.
"I'll give you head," she said, and Ethan smirked.
***
3 days passed in a new normalcy.
They had settled into their new home, the cavern. All things considered, it was an extremely comfortable stay.
Even though both Ethan and Scarlett spent a lot of time together at the start, they put more and more time into learning as the days passed.
Scarlett had gotten a weird dictionary from Ethan's hand—who had gotten it from Gu Yuntian as part of the Inheritance of the Dimensional Immortal Sect. This dictionary helped her learn the language directly by thought instead of a translation.
Every thought had a word. She just had to memorize it. With a thought, the dictionary would flip to a certain word, and she would note it down in a normal notebook.
This dictionary itself had a tiny and unseeable Spell Formation on it, making it work like a tool with intelligence. She also noted such things when Ethan said.
Since he didn't have to learn the language, he was focused on other things. Namely, Cultivation and Cultivators. What should a person with a Dimensional Heritage fear?
He was growing more and more solemn by the day, and when he was tired of studying those, he would turn his attention to the next subject. He had learned quite a lot of new things, each rather interesting, some of which were… his unique eyes and why he intrinsically knew this world's language.
On Earth, every Heritage Awakened with more than one Heritage—Royal Heritage Awakened—would be able to see the [Stats] of a Cultivator. This was an intriguing power that Ethan attributed to their eyes. Why was it?
Why did he know this world's language by instinct when it was obviously the first time he had heard it?
That was because of his Heritage, indeed.
When the Supreme Sects gave away their Heritage to the Lower Worlds, they often included unique perks.
One of these perks was the [Analytical Eye Method] that all cultivators of more renowned sects or schools had. This method would create a Rune in people's eyes, and that would allow them to look at other things and have an understanding of them.
But this method was incomplete without reaching the Colorless Halo Stage of Cultivation and awakening the 6th Sense of a cultivator—Divine Sense.
When one reached that stage, the Divine Sense would fuse with the eyes, and people could apparently even see the Stats of non-living objects with a glance. [Analytical Eye Method] was a method to use the Divine Sense… better.
Of course, there were also methods out there to defend this sort of probing.
Then there was the Perk of languages. It was the language spoken by the people of the Immortal World; all Heritage Awakened would receive it along with their Heritage as they are supposed to be brought here at some point, and language barriers would make the shift horrendous.
Why didn't Scarlett get any?
Obviously, the Devour Sect wasn't looking for friendly people.
She was not supposed to be a disciple, as Gu Yuntian told them, and more of a pawn or something that the actual disciples would… devour.
There was even a note about the Dimension Sect in exact and how they gave out Heritages only to turn the Heritage Awakened into… Cultivation Cauldrons.
They would then be used as a source of energy for the actual disciples to eat and develop themselves in the most pure way. The sect was indeed a highly racist place—they absolutely disdained the creatures from the Lower Worlds.
Among the 9 Supreme Sects, the Devour Sect had the worst reputation, while the Dimensional Immortal Sect had the best when it came to bringing disciples from Lower Worlds.
Whatever the case was, Ethan now knew why she wasn't given the understanding of intrinsic language and the popular [Analytical Eye Method].
But Ethan was not worried; the actual Method was also among the books in his hand; he could give it to her, and she would just have to train it on her own using the needed materials and learning how to use it just like she was learning the language assiduously.
In fact, he was more worried about the book currently in his hand, [The Things That a Dimension Sect Disciple Should Fear]. It detailed everything, including why he couldn't Teleport around Hungjun and much more.
Ethan's teleportation method was far from invincible.
