Right now alex could be seen scrolling through his phone it hasn't even been 5 minutes since he texted Derrick and he wasn't expecting an immediate reply so he just went to game forums to see the hype around the game all in all it was the same as his last life with it being massive in this genre of gaming but relitively small compared to other games on the market fortunately this made it easier to find people, if he wanted to dominate his server and all other servers to come he needed good people leaving it up to fate was not an option for him fortunately he remembered a few noticeable people from his previous life he will have to contact them later see if they want to start on the same server, as Derrick replied {yeah I'm home thanks for checking in} reading this Alex being the very socialy inept person he is was ofcourse confused he just wanted to know if he got home yet 'whatever' thought Alex as he gave up thinking about it and wrote {np I'm so excited to play the game you want to start in the same server bro I might have some friends down to play with us too} Alex thought Derrick wouldn't respond quickly to that so he went back to the forums but he quickly received derricks message not even one second after he sent hit {I'm down bro hit me up whenever} seeing this Alex just smiled although he didn't hear anything about Derrick in his previous life he quite liked him
"Man some of these guys are hard to find" said Alex sounding a little annoyed as he was now on discord in the Immortals discord server the people he wanted to contact were known to chat here before the game released but he has yet to see any of them chat even after 10 minutes he wanted to look through the members but the immortal discord has atleast over 15,000 members at the moment it'll be hard to find them that way as they weren't special people with special titles finally after waiting 5 more minutes he seen one of them talk, a person with the discord name of "Harp" one of the people he was looking for in, his previous life "Harp" was player known for her mind she wasn't a whale or anything like that as she only got the first artifact 5 years into the game she was really good at punching above her weight she is very efficient and active in the game combined with her strengh she was a small celebrity in her server he only knew of her thanks to a sect duel, seeing as she was actively talking in the discord server Alex decided to just text her

As they conversed in the group chat Alex couldn't help but remember just 2 days ago he first talked to harp and in just 30 minutes he managed to convince her the biggest obstacle was not sounding as a creep as suddenly going to someone and asking to play together is kind off weird atleast Alex thought he was basically fighting some none exsistential threat for 30 minutes as harp was down to play together there's no reason why not too it's just a game in her eyes "man it feels like it's just yesterday I came back oh snap I gotta quit my job" said Alex as the second half of his sentence was filled with mild shock he quickly called a number on his phone and simply said "I quit" and hung up he didn't want them to think he was murdered or kidnapped or something for ghosting his only source of income and lively hood
