She tugged at the quilt, tired of him. "Can you leave? My head hurts and I want to sleep alone."
They just spent a week together that doesn't change a thing and he should know it well.
"Isabel we are married and it's only right to share the same bed, remember you used to beg to share the same bed as me. And now I know it's a duty. I can't sleep alone all my life. We will keep on sleeping together."
He announced in a tender voice.
"No! No! This isn't acceptable. I disagree."
Isobel quite enjoyed the fact they slept in separate rooms. She never questioned it and felt good about it.
It was convenient for her at least. She has never shared her bed with a man before until him and she regrets it.
She's in the dark clueless of his thoughts but she just knew if she gave in breaking her vow and slept with him, it would feel like she was being unfaithful to her belief and sister.
A line she shouldn't even be thinking of crossing.
Isobel turned to face him. "I'm tired. My head really hurts. Please leave."
"It's my matrimonial rights."
"Really?" Was he for real like how brazen can one get? Isobel was astounded.
Julius knew he was way past capping bullshit. The reluctance in her stance was obvious, his heart turned sullen. His mood sour towards her adversity on sharing the same bed.
Julius's face darkened, was she serious when she promised to respect his space? Because now she always finds ways to block him. He couldn't get close, he had no way of approaching her, she always turned away moving to the opposite direction.
Julius was pissed.
Is she blind right now or just acting stupid.
His intentions were very well made blatant, how else could he make it obvious? For fucks sake can't she see him full of longing?
His gaze is all hooked on her.
Or does she think him coming in for the past week, currently being shirtless and shameless is out of character. Or was the reason simply because she's truly done with him?
The thought came as a shock to him. Impossible! It can't be true. Isabel loves him. She loves me.
He looks up for confirmation and was shocked to see empty eyes urging him to leave.
Julius never felt so pained in his life. Now that he's interested. His chances were gone.
Julius close his eyes feeling dejected.
When did it happen?
Was it their last quarrel?
No!
Fuck that!
He shook his head.
He never allowed her to stop loving him. He never gave her permission so how dare she?
His mood turned worse and Isobel could tell as it effects the room, but she wasn't wrong and stood firm.
Julius clenched and unclenched his fists. He lifted his proud chin and glared a brutal nasty look to the dense woman standing before him.
"Isabel get in bed now!"
He says toneless expressing no emotion.
He was done playing.
The air turned icy she shivered and scoots backwards already on defence against the unknown.
