On the other hand,Thelma was walking with her friends towards their classes laughing and chatting."By the way Thelma,I was shocked when I heard about your marriage"Emma said." Not only you Emma.everything happened In a flash." "Am not suprised because your pierced nose lacks a pin and so does your ear."Letty said."you never walk without a pin,Thelma"
Emma added."it ain't my fault guys.i had to remove the pins on the wedding day and in that process they got lost. But I am shopping new ones after classes"she replied. "That's our Thelma"They said happily hugging her.
"Wont you tell us about your husband?"Letty asked."Forget about that one,let's head for class."trying to shrug off the topic,she increased her steps.They didnt bother to add on....
Later on ,after the meeting.Kylan headed for the meeting with Mr.Stone forgetting to have his lunch."wont you have lunch?"Mike asked."After the meeting"he replied."which college does my wife go to?"he asked Mike ."Smacks College "he replied."so she's pursuing a course of Art and design?"he asked while in the car."ya,but she's a fashion model and advertiser.During her free times of vibe she used to work at blue star club as a DJ.. "Mike elucidated as he kept his eyes on the road."okay,at least I know a little bit of her.but she seems to be someone still enjoying her life .speaking of her occupation".
"She's still in her youth " Mike added. Kylan recalled her statement earlier in the morning."married or not .....".he sighed.Even though she wants to enjoy her life,she's supposed to follow my rules.inwardly he spoke.
Same on Thelma's side,her classes were done for the day .As they strolled around the jewelry shop searching for pins,she turned to Letty"how about this silver one?" "Kinda less attractive on you.try out this other one" putting it in her nose."better .it matches with these ear pins"Emma added gesturing them toward her."okay,since you have chosen for me,I will but these"Thelma said.The girls bought what they wanted and paid off .
They decided to pass by the restaurant before retreating for their destinations...
*AT KYLAN'S VILLA*
Thelma had just arrived during the evening hours.The butler Jack greeted her as she entered ."Thank you ."she responded
But his gaze was fixed on her nose and she noticed it."Is their any problem?"she asked."umm,nothing miss.Mr.Kylan is already back but he is in his study. " "now what should I do about it"she wanted to utter it out but just said "okay" heading upstairs to the bedroom.
Kylan was in the study from the time he had arrived home but he worried about Thelma wondering whether she was ho.e yet."I hope she hasn't gone to any club "hesaid to himself as he picked up his phone to dial her number .Thelma was inside the bathroom and she couldn't hear the phone ring since it was on the bedside.
"Why isn't she picking up?"he tried dialling the number again.Kylan thought that she might have also eloped with her boyfriend so he stood up to leave ,when he got interrupted by the butler."what Jack" "Miss is back home,she has just gone upstairs to shower"Kylan calmed down .he thought that this was another betrayal. "Fine" he replied.
Thelma sloped down the stairs in a blue Petra and buggy white t-shirt to have dinner
Her hair fell on one side and back revealing her pierced ear with pins.she walked with her phone to the dining hall without minding g whether Kylan was around or not.
Taking up her seat,she served herself.rice ,asparagus with vegetable stew and a glass of mango juice ."Is their anything you need miss?"Jack asked. "No, I am fine.wont your master have dinner?"she asked."he will, miss"immediately he replied,Kylan entered the dining hall taking up his seat.he looked up glaring at his wife.astonished.
"Did you pierce your nose and your ears?"
"No,I had them pierced before"she replied."how come" " i was forced to remove them while transforming into a replacement"sacrstically she replied."okay,i won't say much"looking back at his food."hmm,acting diplomatic"she mummered.he heard it but didnt react.After dinner, Thelma left for the bedroom unlike Kylan whi left for the study.
After changing into her night gown,she entered bed,taking out her contact lenses revealing her aquamarine eyes.All this while had contact lenses and no one noticed.trying to sleep,she stared at the ceiling.
Meanwhile,Kylan was trying to finalize with work but he felt sleepy in the process

Thelma heard the door open ,footsteps of Kylan as he got in bed .but she pretended to be asleep.Kylan wanted to say sth instead he said."Good night"she didnt reply though she heard him.....
The next day as they had breakfast in silence ,the buzz on Thelma's phone caught Kylan's attention.To his dismay,she didnt answer it but just look at it.Thelma put it in silent mode."why didn't you answer your phone?"he asked."its nothing much"she replied."I will leave now"without waiting for his reply.But Kylan was curious on who the caller was.Jack interrupted, informing him about Mike's arrival.with a nod he stood up to leave as he carried his briefcase and coat.
In the car,Mike asked"Your lost in thoughts whatsapp" "am curious about something but never mind." "Okay," "I will pick up my wife today from her school"he said"but I saw her driving herself .won't you be inconveniening her?"he asked. "She's my wife and dad wants to prove whether I am taking care of her" " if that's what you say"Mike replied keeping his eyes focused on the road.
Thelma wasn't in her usual moods by the time she arrived at the college."is everything alright Thelma"Letty asked."I dont think so" "so what happened did Kylan do anything or?"Emma added."No,its not Kylan" "Then who is it?"they all asked at once.keeping silent for a moment .she sighed."it's Drew.his back"their eyes widened in shock.Letty grabbed her hand."let's rush to our class before anything else happens .we shall talk this later"they rushed away from the compound not to collide with Drew.
The day went on on both sides till Thelma was done with her classes,as she walked towards her car,she collided with Drew.she couldn't turn back and walk away .her eyes remained glued on Drew who smiled walking towards her and hugging her.she remained glued in her same posture without hugging him back."I missed "he whispered under her ear .but,she didnt respond.he retreated from the hug and looked at her."ain6you happy to see me?"he askedtaking hold of her hands."umm,....Drew.i...didn't..expect ...you to.. comeback this fast"she tried to utter out some words."how can I stay so far away from my girlfriend, you know i love you so much and i knew that you would be shocked"he chuckled. "But you dont seem to be happy to see me ,are you alright?"he asked curiously.taking her hands out of his,she sighed."Drew,i have to tell you something " ."its okay,go on"staring at her.Thelma didnt know how to explode the bomb to him.inside she felt sad to lose the man she loved,since.now their two years relationship was going to waste. She felt like tearing up but she had to hold back her tears."i am ..married Drew" Drew thought that she was joking.that he chuckled."Are you trying to tease me babe?"he asked."Am serious Drew,I am married"showing him the ring in her finger.his smile faded.he believed on seeing her face expression.All this was being watched by Kylan in the car from a distance."Dont fall into coclusions"Mike said seeing his angry face."should I intervene?"he asked."I don't think so"he replied.
"How?,To who?"he was bazerk ."Drew,I am married now,this thing between us can end now"she added trying to keep calm."no,Thelma don't tell me that we are breaking up"he tried to hold her back."Drew,try to understand me.i know we are all hurt but please.let this end now.my life in marriage is done " "so all the dreams we had are a waste,Thelma."he was filled with tears in his eyes and pain in his words.Thelma thought of walking away but he grabbed not letting her go."Please dont leave me Thelma". He hugged her so tight not wanting to let her go ,"Drew let go of me" she tried to push him away.suddenly someone pulled Drew away from her while someone pulled her that she landed her head on the chest.
"Stay away from my wife"the voice said."she's not your wife,she was forced to marry you .she doesn't love you." "Stop thos Drew!.It's done and you can't change it"Thelma shouted pulling herself away from Kylan.Drew felt helpless on what she said .tears were already rolling down her cheeks."come with me !"mike said taking Drew away but his eyes didn't let go of her.
Kylan stood behind her watching her cry.
"Umm-" "Don't you dare say a word"coldly she said walking towards her car and driving off.Kylan felt bad for her.though he was angry back there watching her talk to another guy,he couldn't help seeing him forcefully hug her.
