Cedric heaves a sigh as he looks deeply at his daughter as he speaks in a solemn tone, "Because, in a second thought, it might be dangerous for you to be involved with the royal family."
Mila scoffed at it. "Isn't our world dangerous enough, father?"
Cedric was at a loss for words.
"In this world, father, only those with power and influence can counter the danger of the world compared to those who have nothing and only depend on someone's protection…" she paused as she looked straight into her father's brown eyes as she continued, "…are destined to get swept away by the tide of danger in this world without the capabilities to get in their two feet to fight and protect themselves."
