"Good morning kids! What's your order?", an old man came to us and ready to take our order.
We sit on the empty table while we both thinking about what we want to order.
"I want a glass of water and an omellete. What about you, Lisa?" I asked my little sister.
"W-wait brother! Gimme a minute to choose first!", she told me as she was thinking about her choices while putting her hand under her chin.
"Why do you need such a lot of time to think? You just have to choose a slice of cake."
"Ck..Ck..Ck.. That's why you have failed your duty as an older brother.", she told those hurtful word to me while her eye still stick on the menu.
'Calm down...Calm down... Don't use those word or you will regret it.'
"M-Maybe you're right after all! I don't know anything about cake. Maybe you can teach me, right?", I asked her to teach me while holding my frustration to her.
" *Gasp* Do you like cake too, brother?", she asked me with her eyes sparkling.
"Y-Yeah, of course, s-sure! Hahaha.....", I told her with a fake smile.
'For the matter of fact, I can't eat sugar or I could say I don't like sugar. How can someone call something sweet like that delicious? They're totally weird... including my sister.'
"Hey kids, I got a lot of customer waiting for me to pick their order. Do you want to order or you want me to kicked you out?", the old man told us with threatening cause he start to losing his temper.
"A-Ah! I want this strawberry rabbit-shaped cake and orange juice, please!", she told the old man with nervous tone.
The old man wrote down our ordered and leave us.
"Fuh..... Grandpa Grange are really scary when he mad.", she said to me.
I took out my newspaper that I bought before I came here. I read thw newspaper and said to her:
"I'm also will be mad if someone waste my time while I'm working."
"But it just like a five minute and Grandpa Grange already complained because of it.", she said to me.
"No matter how many minutes that you waste, it still can effect your work. It's same like study if you asked me." , I said.
"Hmmm.... Brother can I asked you something?", she asked me.
"What is it?", I asked her while I read the newspaper.
"Why you always read books and study? You know school only accept people that have magic and from royalty only right? We just a common human.", she said to me.
I close the newspaper and faces her.
"Hah....you know, everyone can learn no matter what race they are from, what skin colour they have or if they have talent or not. So, you don't have any reason to not learned, understand?", I said to her.
"B-But even I study or reads books no one will notice me. I once read book at the park and the kids and their parents always look on me with a disgusting expression. Is it because I'm just a commoner and reading is just for rich people.", she said.
"Just ignore them. Why you need to go to the park by the way? Isn't staying at home is not enough?" I asked her.
"I thought if I read book at the park everyone will praise me...", she told me her intentions.
She looked down and become quiet. It's make the atmosphere become awkward for the two of us.
I tried to find some good words to enlighten the mood.
"B-But at least you have a brother to praise you everytime, right?", I said to her while making a cool pose.
She looked at me and stay silent. The situation become more worst as everyone saw me doing this weird pose.
'Ahh!!! I want to kill myself right now!! Everyone is seeing me right now!'
I stop doing my pose and sit like a normal person.
"*Pfft..* HAHAHAHHA.... What are you doing brother! Instead of acting cool, you look more like someone who need attention!", she suddenly laugh at me.
What do you say? You're the one who try to seek attention and I give it to you then you laugh at me because you say I need attention!? Ughh... This fist of mine really want to go right to her face right now.
Grandpa Grange come to us with our order and join the laughed with my sister.
Then, we ate our food until finished. We said one last goodbye to grandpa and walked out from the restaurant. Today was really an embarrassing day for me.
