Chereads / Toymaker: Isekai / Chapter 19 - The Storm (19)

Chapter 19 - The Storm (19)

It took a good 5 minutes for the cheering to return to a calm, every trooper returned to their work and finally after an hour more of preparation everyone was ready to set out, a pilot joined their ranks and was informed of the ships status before left alone to activate the ship.

All ships in the hangar floated in place, they then received the order to set out and they did, multiple ships exited the hangar in a uniform fashion as if they were part of a factory line up, they reached space in the blink of an eye or two and met up with the rest of the troopers.

They all traveled towards the planet they needed to conquer for the mission, as for why they didnt board an even bigger ship, its because if Matt made it himself it would be subjected to the worlds limitations, yes even powerful weaponry are considered "Characters".

Matt plans to commission a Toymaker to make a massive ship for him and he already had a name for it, which coincidentially lined up with the old world lore of the troopers.

"Gonna need to make the Imperial Star Destroyer a real thing soon so i can destroy Georges rebel scum!"

Matt looked at the lore he had written slowly expand and devour planet after planet, exploit their resources and make their might stronger than before, his creation was basically ready to move on to other galaxies, he just needed the Imperial Star Destroyer.

"Well atleast right now im coming closer to my goal, its faster than expected though, especially on missions where this black fog would suddenly join, weirdly enough this figure only joins when theres a person or race with psychic abilities or superpowers on the planet, talks to them then roasts them with lightning, is this guy a psychic or a superpower? Is it looking for something? Something keeps telling me its not both weirdly enough, anyway not my problem for now"

Matt turned his attention back to the toy bound squadron, if he waited for them to arrive to the planet itll take a long time, so he sped up the time in the small area and activated a transition effect.

For Loremakers transition effects still exist otherwise stories they make will take a hundred years to even finish all due to the walking and traveling, some may like that but not everyone wants to see a slice of life story especially when the story is about war and death.

One transition effect later and a area time speed up the ships arrived near the planet, a very lush green planet with very few splotches of blue that signified water, the leaders gazed at the planet from their command bays, even C56.

"Such a beautiful planet, pity we will have to burn it with the flames of war, all because their delegates didnt want to support the empires cause, a good cause"

"Indeed sir, if theyre not with us then theyre against us, we cannot leave such a planet thats close to the empire alone, they could become a tipping point if they choose to support some rebels"

"Im glad you can see that far 2002, your wits might end up giving you a higher position than expected haha"

"Is that sarcasm? Though i do admit that im rather proud of my wits"

"Good, use your wits to elevate the empires status and show its opponents that the empire is not something they can mess with"

They returned their focus to the planet after the small talk, the ships slowly got closer and closer, and then covertly landed on the planet, they didnt want to alert the natives so they can perform a sneak attack.

The troopers gathered their arms and got together under one commander as they got themselves ready, they sent scouts to perform reconnaissance and the scouts sent back to them images of the enemy encampment.

The inhabitants were having a celebration as they were proud of their denial to join the empire, they even killed the messenger and hanged them on top of the trees as an extra act of affirmation that they will never bow to the empire.

The inhabitants looked like a mix between animals and humans, after performing the report they were told to hide and so they did, the next thing that happened was that the troopers marched towards the opponents camp, the trooper outnumbered them by 15 to 1.

They first sent a distraction to the front and to assure that the natives wont surrender, they chose a clone and his squadron as the distraction, the chosen clone and troops were Loremaker made.

"Greetings natives, where is your leader? We would like to have proper confirmation that you do not plan to work with the empire"

"Hahaha! I am the leader you dogs of the empire! All of you are being tricked by your beloved empire, join me and rebel against your tyrannical leader!"

"... I take that as a proper confirmation and an act against the empire yes?"

"Bah! Take it as you want! We will never fall under your tyrants rule, ill give you dogs some time to run before we give chase, this planet is ours and the terrain is our friend, now move mutts!"

"We got confirmation"

The decoy envoy passed on, with those three simple words it was as if a fuse has been ignited and all the troopers surrounding this native village raised their beam rifles and fired uniformly, the all encompassing formation of the troopers wiped out the inhabitants within a flash, leaving no survivors, not even children.

"A pity, move on to the next one!"
