Alexa took Rachael home. She decided to clear her schedule for the rest of the week and check the house thoroughly if there were any more of those mini cameras.
Once she was convinced that there was none, she would start parking up. That wasn't a one day job so she was glad she decided to clear her schedule.
Driving into the parking lot, Alexa got a call from the building's security team asking her to come over, an intruder had broken into her apartment.
Shocked, Alexa immediately made her way to the elevator. She was confused. What intruder? And why were things taking turns like this to disturb her mind?
'Please, let it be a false alarm.' She begged in her mind and opened her eyes.
"Mummy." Rachael asked, clutching tightly on to her mother's hand. "Your palms are sweaty. Did something happen?"
