Chapter 39 - I'll be over there

The next morning, Ariel woke up feeling like her entire body had given up on her. She was that exhausted.

"I don't think I'll be able to leave my room today." She mumbled and turned to the side, remembering how much she cried the previous night. "He didn't think of me as a weak girl, did he? I only cried because it was too painful to hold it in."

She hugged her pillow and then heard a knock on her door.

"Come in." She responded, though she didn't so much feel like seeing anyone. "What is it?" She asked, without turning to see who it was.

"I wanted to see how you were doing." Ariel's eyes widened as she heard Raymond's voice.

She immediately turned to see him standing next to her. He wore a grey suit and had his hair parted at the right side, something you don't see everyday.

"Sir Raymond, what are you doing here?" She asked, surprised.
