Paige picked up what she left behind in the mansion and went back home. The house where she and her husband, Maxwell lived.
"I'm home." She announced and Maxwell walked out of the kitchen with a bowl of washed strawberries.
"How was your day?" Maxwell asked with a smile and she slumped on the couch.
"It was fine. So many things happened but at the end of it all, I'm glad I have my caring husband to come home to." She said and watched him kiss her hand.
"Of course, I'm always here for you." he smiled.
She and Maxwell had been married for over four years. They held their wedding a year after Ariel's death.
But before they got married, Maxwell made it clear that he performed a vasectomy operation to cut off the supply of sperm to his semen because he didn't want to be a father.
