I groaned. My head throbbed like crazy and I could feel the blood coated my face. I opened my eyes and saw everything blurred. For a second, I stood still until the memories shot back to me.
I flared my eyes and soon my vision focused, and revealed the decimated food court. Some were still collapsed on the ground and others hid behind fallen pillars, phones on the ready.
Looking down, the slimy tentacle wrapped around me tightly. My breath hitched at the pressure exerted by the thing.
No, this can't be. Mom, Dad. I looked around to find where they were. I scanned my surroundings and spotted a place filled with rubble and debris. I gritted my teeth, I guessed it must've been a couple minutes since they exploded down here.
The tentacle flailed us around like a bunch of rag dolls. The faint shouts and screams of civilians entered my ears. I forced myself to stay awake, my toddler body still not used to so much strain.
"That's enough you villains! Let the children go" A loud voice boomed across the field, finally startled me to wake up.
I looked forward, my eyes shot open. In the middle of the dust, standing atop the fallen rubble. A giant mass stood with pride, he exuded strength and power with just his stance alone. From his head, two strands of hair extended outward, reminiscent of bunny ears. He wore a suit mixed with red, blue, and yellow. He looked on at the group with a smile on his face, a hint of danger in his eyes.
"Move closer or they get it!" The one at the middle—which I assumed to be the leader—threatened. He wore a black suit, and had paws and a tail with a lion's head.
The others around me shook, but they hid it behind their animalistic heads. Everyone in this so called "Pride" had and animal head, one even had glowing skin. What animals is that though?
The tentacle then moved again, shaking me and the other kids with it. I held my scream as my chest felt like it would burst.
I looked around to glare at the stupid squid, when my eyes caught the sight of a familiar girl. Along with me, Jiro and two other children were the ones caught by this walking octupus.
I looked around again to look at the pile where my parents were. My heart started to ache as I worried if they're still alive. I grimaced at the pain in my chest spread towards my stomach, their voices seemed to haunt me.
"Too bad for you then" Allmight smirked and disappeared. Like a fierce gale, he shot towards the group, forcing them back. Within a second he made his way to the tentacle man and punched him in the gut, causing him to let go.
A hurricane hit my face when the thing released, and I fell. But just as fast as before, Allmight arrived and catched everyone and within a blink of an eye we were now on the side of the food court.
"Take the children!" Allmight boomed and vanished.
The four of us were now surrounded my people who checked if we were ok. The two kids were grabbed by their parents who hugged them with tears. After that, Jiro's parents arrived as well and hugged her.
As the kids reunited with their parents others began shouting for mine.
"Hey, where's this kid's parents!" Someone from the crowd yelled, and so I turned around to see pieces of rubble still burried atop each other.
I looked to my side to see Allmight was now fighting 3 people, one of them was the leader, the other the tentacle one, and the last was some kind of eagle man. Seeing my chance, I dashed passed the crowd and ran to the pile, ignoring the screams of the people behind me.
Summoning the chameleon, I disappeared into the dust. Tons of the group were scattered everywhere, some even were unable to stand up. I passed them without a hitch and arrived at the pile.
I hid behind and switched the chameleon, and revealed myself. Before I could switch to something stronger, a growl alerted me.
"Hey boys, looks like we have a stowaway" The man growled again, he was tall with hairy arms and a jackal head.
"Come on ssssssweettyy, we'll take care of you..." Someone added from behind. He hissed and slithered which was not surprising, regarding his head.
Soon more surrounded me with various heads of animals. I straightened my brow as I prepared for a fight. They saw my stance and laughed like a bunch o kids.
"Now that's funny" The jackal-head said "We might be going to prison but I'm sure as hell not gonna go down without a fight. Get him."
One ran towards me to grab me, but I dodged and stepped back. Three more followed and I was now surrounded by them, snickering as they grew closer.
"Just quit it kid. If you behave, we might let you out alive hahahaha" One man tried to lunge at me but before he could get close, I stepped back once again.
After I got some space, I tapped my chest and the silver mist spread out. It roared and slashed until it formed into a magnificent jaguar beside me. The jaguar growled with fierce glowing eyes and dissipated back into my body.
My eyes glowed white and I could feel my body change. My muscles hardened and my panting body reverted back. My tiredness disappeared as I felt like I could run a marathon.
The group saw this and froze for a minute, before the jackal-head ordered to attack. The three people around me, lunged together and just like instinct, I ducked.
One went pass me and hit a wall. I grabbed one of the guys arms and flipped him over me. He dropped to the ground and groaned.
Watching him, my instincts flared up and I ducked. A punch flew over my head and I grabbed it's wrist before it could retreat. I twisted the man's wrist and circled around his arm, turning it upside down.
Positioning my hand, I raised my knee and broke the man's elbow. He screamed loudly, and tried to punch with his other hand. I blocked it and punched him square in the face, and he fell to the ground.
The people around stood shocked and I just smirked.
"Come on guys, scared already?" I taunted.
The jaguar then appeared beside me and growled. I jumped on top of the pillar with the jaguar hovering over me like a jacket. The people moved and jumped at me from all directions. Looks like their getting serious.
As one came towards me with a knife, I grabbed its wrist and took the knife. I twisted his arm and kicked him in the crotch. He rolled out of the way.
Another came from behind and I ducked, using the knife I got, I slashed him in the leg and punched him in the jaw. After that, another one screamed from behind.
'Could they be any more obvious?'
I took the knife again and tge mist enveloped me. The jaguar Ashe watched and hissed as my pupil dilated and thinned. Positioning myself, I threw the knife and it stabbed the man in the neck, and he collapsed to the ground.
Another wave appeared and the jaguar dissipated, leaving the mist dancing around my body.
One man flying lunged at me from above, but I dodged and grabbed his hand. Pulling myself up, I swinged around and made it to his back. The mist around me roared as the jaguars jaws formed on my hands.
I raised them high and punched it hard, the jaguar's jaws biting at the contact with my hand. The man screamed and fell to the ground. I took my hand and blood seeped out, a bite mark appearing on the man's neck.
I looked at it for a while before I ducked, this time my instincts were running wild. In front of me stood the jackal-head clearly pissed. I just giggled at his face and he fumed.
He raised his hand and punched me down, I blocked it with my arms as I yelled out a scream. The mist around me fluctuated at the man's weight, he smirked at my struggle and swatted me with his back hand. I flew across the field and hit the wall.
The mist around me dissipated, a giant crater formed when my I made contact. I spit out blood as my entire body was covered with dust, sweat, and of course blood. I looked to my side to see the civilians watched me with curiosity.
This is pretty much entertainment for them.
I laughed, my voice shaking from the possible broken ribs I gotten. I looked ahead and saw the man towered over me. He lowered his head and prepared himself.
"Let's end this!" He charged towards me and I smirked.
"Your right..." I muttered as I tapped my chest the silver mist erupted like an explosion. The mist rose into the air and I heard some people gasped from the side.
It danced and swirled until it formed. With a giant wail, it flapped it's ears and flailed it's trunk. It stomped hard as the jackal-head made contact with me.
The two of us collided and an explosion of dust appeared and everyone watched quietly, their phones recorded everything.
The smoke disappeared and everyone gasped. In front of them they saw me, blocking the man's charge with a single hand. The jackal-head gasped as I only grinned at hi reaction. Raising my other hand I bashed his head like a hammer.
The man fell to the ground with such force it cause a miniature quake. The man struggled to stand up as I took him by the collar, my eyes glowing and the mist roaring around me. I raised him high, and threw him into the air.
He flew like a bird and descended like a rock. I jumped towards him and the mist around me transformed into a massive elephant. It wailed and shouted as it manifested around me. As I got closer to him, I raised my hands and the elephant followed with it's trunk.
When we were now in close range, I made a swishing motion. The elephant's trunk followed my hand and at that moment we both made contact.
Both my hand and the elephant's trunk collided with his cheek and a shock wave erupted. We both slapped him with so much force, he flew all across the food court and passed through a wall to the other side.
Allmight and the others noticed this and saw me descending down with the giant Ashe of the elephant following me. As we made contact with the earth a loud rumble echoed.
I ignored the shocked faces of everyone and ran to the pile of dirt. With every step I made, tremors could be felt across the floor.
When I stood before it, the elephant behind me roared and dissipated into mist. The mist once again danced around me. My muscle growing stronger than before.
I grabbed a piece of 5-meter long cemented pillar and raised it above me. I threw it to the side and proceeded to remove all the piles one by one.
When I reached the bottom, I saw it, my parents fainted on the floor. I sighed with relief for they survived. I made my way towards them and slung them across my back. Jumping out of the pile, I rose atop and carried my parents out.
Everyone watched with awe as I descended with my parents, the Ashe of the elephant roaring once more. I made it pass the rubble and into the crowd where an ambulance had just arrived.
I took my parents and gave them to the nurse, who was surprised I managed to carry them.
After that day, the entire video of me defeating the grunts spread like a wild fire and I subconsciously knew, that I screwed up.
But hey, I managed to save my parents, unlike in the past.
